mizer Posted May 8, 2009 Author Report Posted May 8, 2009 Agreed. Fantastic. Although, whenever he did something good, the whole Dons support came out with a chorus "One Sone Aluko" Did we? Quote
Ajja Posted May 8, 2009 Report Posted May 8, 2009 Agreed. Fantastic. Although, whenever he did something good, the whole Dons support came out with a chorus "One Sone Aluko" I thought I heard the down market forum posters singing 'two Sone Aluko's' Quote
dave_min Posted May 12, 2009 Report Posted May 12, 2009 We should definitely extend his deal. I agree. He will never play for Man City, he should stay Quote
BigAl Posted May 13, 2009 Report Posted May 13, 2009 We should definitely extend his deal. Is this based purely on last nights performance Sounded from radio commentary as if he had a good game Quote
Kowalski Posted May 13, 2009 Report Posted May 13, 2009 Is this based purely on last nights performance Sounded from radio commentary as if he had a good game Apart from the St Mirren game, he's done nowt wrong for me at right back. Last two matches he's been very good indeed. Quote

Ajja Posted May 13, 2009 Report Posted May 13, 2009 He looked excellent last night but I am worried about the number of 'defenders' we are accumulating who are not really defenders. Mulgrew and Vidal are FBs who can't really defend and play better as sort of wing backs come midfielders. Foster is a midfielder who plays FB and apparently now CB, Mair is a CB who plays FB from time to time, Duff is a midfielder who sometimes plays FB, Seve is a midfielder who plays at CB. Have I missed anyone ? So basically Zander and Considine look like the only actual defenders who play in their actual positions. Quote

dave_min Posted July 15, 2009 Report Posted July 15, 2009 I take it he returned to Man City? Was there ever any real doubt that he would? Quote
maverick sheep Posted July 25, 2009 Report Posted July 25, 2009 i think they just said on ss news that vidal is in the starting line up for manc v kaiser chiefs. nice one. Quote

Andrew Posted July 25, 2009 Report Posted July 25, 2009 I predict a riot! Vidal will find it difficult to get employment now. Quote
boboisared Posted July 25, 2009 Report Posted July 25, 2009 Vidal will find it difficult to get employment now. Everyday I love you less and less. Quote
BobbyBiscuit Posted July 25, 2009 Report Posted July 25, 2009 Are these Kaiser Chefs (sic) puns now? I thought it was bad with the Elton John ones, but Don Stalk has now reached a new low... Quote
Sonoftherock Posted July 25, 2009 Report Posted July 25, 2009 javan vidal has just been stretchered off after 35 mins and replaced by ben haim. Hope the injury isn't too serious.... Would be great to see him make the City first team. During his time at Pittodrie, I've never seen a player improve so dramatically over the space of 4 or 5 games. A pity he couldn't have continued his development at Pittodrie - technically, a cut above the usual dross we have to put up with. Quote

The next two games the team crumbled around him but he still played decent himself. Injury might make hime more likely to come our way in the market... Quote
TENEMENTFUNSTER Posted July 29, 2009 Report Posted July 29, 2009 javan vidal has just been stretchered off after 35 mins and replaced by ben haim. Can't be that badly injured, he's listed in the squad for the morra night against Sigma! As is Bateman who is away on loan. The BBC is a fucking joke. Aberdeen: Langfield, Vidal, Diamond, Mulgrew, Considine, Pawlett, Duff, McDonald, Foster, Kerr, Aluko, Young, Miller, Mackie, Maguire, Nelson, Paton, Stewart, Clark, Ross, Crawford, Bateman. Quote
manc_don Posted July 29, 2009 Report Posted July 29, 2009 I noticed that earlier TF and thought, if only...if only... Quote
Madbadteacher Posted July 29, 2009 Report Posted July 29, 2009 Maybe it's a fantastic BBC scoop Quote
