Huck the Funs
Don't know whether this would be feasible in terms of compensation payable, but what about this for a picture: for a picture? fuckin awful for a manager on a budget? fuckin awful
scottyc
George Graham is the best shout yet. For me Jeffries / Black / Levein / McGhee etc. is no better than Calderwood. We need to show ambition with the next appointment and put in somebody who can take us beyond a distant 3rd in the league at best and a cup semi. If we can't find that we should have stuck with Calderwood. I have to say I think Calderwood and the club have conducted themselves well over the last few months since the letter from the AFC Trust and not aired their dirty laundry in public. Let's hope they keep it up with the next managerial appointment.
One Bobby Clark
If Strachan gets the boot, I'd be happy with him here. Failing that, I believe Ruud Gullit would be an interesting prospect. If it's Jefferies, I'll know for sure the AFC Board has lost it's collective mind. Hopefully Motherwell's season long absymal performance will have torpedoed any chance for McGhee. glasgow sheep
McLeish would do a brilliant job (until he started having to reshape the team at which point hopefully he would be lured back down south...never ever going to happen though)
topcorner
I'm hearing that John Collins is one of the main candidates. Don't fancy that at all though.

glasgowdon
If it was Willie Miller, surely there would be money available so a Dons legend can do well?

Kowalski
http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/a/aberdeen/8066189.stm Speculation has already linked Motherwell manager Mark McGhee, a former Aberdeen player, with the vacancy. However, McGhee told BBC Scotland that he had not been approached and that he did not have "any indication that Aberdeen are interested in me". Ajja
I suspect it will be McGhee. I think he would do a good job for a couple of seasons.
DON 71
I think it will be Mark McGhee with Archie Knox as his assistant
BrownyBrown
I can see this thread reaching almost preposterous levels like the transfer window speculation threads that we usually get. Can't wait to hear some of the names that get touted. I'll be giving it a miss.
