boboisared Posted June 4, 2009 Report Posted June 4, 2009 Am I the only one that sees the irony in sitting down in the Stand Free end? Quote

glasgowdon Posted June 4, 2009 Report Posted June 4, 2009 The Ullevi Stand The Richard Donald Stand The Alex Ferguson Stand The Red Stand (this one's GOT to be terraced, and for the home fans who want to sing and shout and swear) Yea, let's do that. You know, the stand wont get shut down or anything... Quote
He-Man Posted June 4, 2009 Report Posted June 4, 2009 The Teddy Scott Stand is a must if we do move stadium. Quote
glasgowdon Posted June 4, 2009 Report Posted June 4, 2009 The Teddy Scott Stand is a must if we do move stadium. Who is he? Quote

glasgowdon Posted June 4, 2009 Report Posted June 4, 2009 See you young loons, I suggest you read up on the history of Aberdeen. Isn't the the Dundee manager? Quote
glasgowdon Posted June 4, 2009 Report Posted June 4, 2009 The? I meant to say "he". I have failed. Quote
He-Man Posted June 4, 2009 Report Posted June 4, 2009 Teddy Scott has served the club in a variety of roles over the years, a true legend. Quote
glasgowdon Posted June 4, 2009 Report Posted June 4, 2009 Teddy Scott has served the club in a variety of roles over the years, a true legend. Was he the guy that won two european trophies? If he is, then I agree, he is a legend. Quote
He-Man Posted June 4, 2009 Report Posted June 4, 2009 This has got to be a wind-up, look up Teddy Scott on Wikipedia. Quote
glasgowdon Posted June 4, 2009 Report Posted June 4, 2009 This has got to be a wind-up, look up Teddy Scott on Wikipedia. So he was a failed player? What a legend. Quote
Guest fatshaft Posted June 4, 2009 Report Posted June 4, 2009 Any takers for an Ian Donald Stand? Oh aye Quote
RnP Posted June 4, 2009 Report Posted June 4, 2009 Might aswell make one the Ian Porteous Stand Quote
Montana Posted June 5, 2009 Report Posted June 5, 2009 Aberdeen Arena - pro's AA fits with most of our support; cons - sounds up its own arse. Loirston - dont think this has any ring to it whatsoever - boring. Pittodrie - 2 places can be called the same thing surely I like the dungheap The New Beach End - like this idea - although thats probably due to memories of being sat in the Beachend rather than the name. The South Stand - cant imagine going to watch the Dons and not say thats where am sitting. Stand Free - cheesy but good. Stands named after folk / things - The Ullevi Stand is the only one I like. Quote
dickofthedons Posted June 5, 2009 Report Posted June 5, 2009 The stadium of shite The Pitt. Why not combine the two and call it the CessPitt. It could have the "We take sheep up the rear end" Seriously though I do like the Ullevi End Quote
