Ajja Posted January 4, 2010 Report Posted January 4, 2010 Its all about the strikers. With any sort of decent strike force we would be comfortable in this league, regardless of what people say about our defence. Quote
Reekie_Red Posted January 5, 2010 Report Posted January 5, 2010 We haven't been scoring goals, but football's not just about scoring goals. It's about winning. Quote
Sandaldinho Posted January 6, 2010 Report Posted January 6, 2010 don't give a fuck how many we score, as long as its 1 more than our opponents Quote

glasgow sheep Posted February 14, 2010 Report Posted February 14, 2010 What the fuck is a goal gap? Quote
mizer Posted February 14, 2010 Report Posted February 14, 2010 What the fuck is a goal gap? To get 50 goals, we have to score 1.32 goals per game. TO be on target we should have scored 31.58 goals by now, but we are only on 23 - hence the goal gap. THis graph may make it clearer. Quote
rocknroll Posted February 14, 2010 Report Posted February 14, 2010 Hopefully MacLean and Paton can keep scoring to fill the gap. Quote

Even including the league the best we can muster is 5. Top scorers Hibs - Stokes 18 (16&2) Hearts - Stewart 8 (5&3) Utd - Goodwillie 11 (8&3) Quote
Jute Posted March 29, 2010 Report Posted March 29, 2010 Am I right in thinking that Maguire has scored more goals than our top scorer this season? Quote
mizer Posted March 29, 2010 Report Posted March 29, 2010 Am I right in thinking that Maguire has scored more goals than our top scorer this season? I think he is on 4? As both of us know going to watch him at Scotland u-21 level he thrives when stuck up front and not relegated to the wings when playing for us both under JC and MM. Quote
