Ptayles Posted September 22, 2009 Author Report Posted September 22, 2009 He's been out all season and he's only seeing a specialist now? Drop Kerr for Diamond. And drop Miller for Wright-when or if he actually gets fit Quote
baggy89 Posted September 22, 2009 Report Posted September 22, 2009 And drop Miller for Wright-when or if he actually gets fit Wright is surely going to be hungry when/if he gets fit. He must realise if he continues to do nothing while up here there won't be a league team in England that will touch him next season. He is in serious danger of becoming the forgotten man and if that isn't motivation enough to get back on the pitch and start scoring some goals then I don't know what is. Likewise if a fit and fired up Tommy Wright isn't enough to motivate Lee Miller... In a strange way Tommy Wright could be key to our season. Quote
amp Posted September 22, 2009 Report Posted September 22, 2009 EE reporting that Tommy Wright has suffered a slight thigh strain in training. Quote

To be honest from what I have seen of Wright even fit he will be no threat to Millers place. Guy is limited at best. Quote
baggy89 Posted September 22, 2009 Report Posted September 22, 2009 At least with McGhee we don't have to endure embarassing cup defeats, followed by embarassing excuses.... Quote
Kowalski Posted September 22, 2009 Report Posted September 22, 2009 Currently 3-2 in ET. Howler from Langfield? Quote

willie_millers-barmyarmy Posted September 22, 2009 Report Posted September 22, 2009 to be fair that was always a horrible draw Quote
Reekie_Red Posted September 22, 2009 Report Posted September 22, 2009 It had a Dundee win written all over it. Struggling Aberdeen travelling to Dundee, a team who are second only to Celtic in terms of their summer spending in Scotland ... courtesy of funding from an Aberdeen fan. Writing was on the wall before kick off. Jimmy Must Go. Quote
glasgow sheep Posted September 22, 2009 Report Posted September 22, 2009 Langfield howler cost us the game. Typical one of our best,if not the best, player of the season makes a fuck up that costs us our place in the cup Quote
glasgowdon Posted September 22, 2009 Report Posted September 22, 2009 Fuck sake Jimmy always gets pumped out by lower division teams. I wonder what excuses Stoney has in store. Quote
Kowalski Posted September 22, 2009 Report Posted September 22, 2009 Was Leitch arguing with Dons fans in the stand after the game? Quote
glasgow sheep Posted September 22, 2009 Report Posted September 22, 2009 Suppose on reflection losing to the 2nd biggest spenders in Scottish football is hardly on a par with losing to QotS, QP or Dunfermline, perhaps not even as bad as our utter capitulation at killie at the same stage last year. This match had, and would have had, defeat written all over it given the state of our team for the last year or so. Doesn't exactly make it any easier to take and I await reports from those who were at the game but I guess our clueless and toothless midfield had a lot to do with it, along with a defence that perhaps has flattered to deceive. Our team is so mediocre, and has been for so long, it's a wonder we ever hope for anything better. So onward to victory at ibrox................................ Quote
Harcus Posted September 22, 2009 Report Posted September 22, 2009 Was Leitch arguing with Dons fans in the stand after the game? What you talking about you Fact Hunt? Quote
baggy89 Posted September 22, 2009 Report Posted September 22, 2009 Just out of interst what position were Dungfermline ( the straw that broke the rhino's back), in last season when they hammered us 5-4 on penalties? Quote

BigAl Posted September 22, 2009 Report Posted September 22, 2009 In isolation, you can just about excuse this result, but we're on the 22nd September and this is without doubt strike two for Dingus. Totally unacceptable in anybodies language Quote
