baggy89 Posted December 21, 2009 Report Posted December 21, 2009 Taking nothing away from Aluko's ability, I think it shows the absolute dearth of left sided players we've had at Pittodrie this decade. The majority of posters are playing McNaughton (like several managers) out of position at left back because lets face it Andy Dow, Jamie McAllister, Scott Morrison were fucking crap Ricky Foster isn't a left back, and my choice of Mulgrew is fairly questionable defensively. Further up on the left, what are the choices? Scott Muirhead? Did Ben Thornley "play" on the left? There are plenty who played out of position at LM but I'm struggling to think of anyone better than Aluko. Jamie Smith maybe? Quote
