Stewart Posted December 30, 2009 Report Posted December 30, 2009 The Evening Express have printed their team of the decade today: Langfield McNaughton Anderson Severin Foster Nicholson Heikkinen Tosh Smith Mackie Zerouali Quote
minijc Posted December 30, 2009 Report Posted December 30, 2009 Tosh was a good player but more so for the passion that he showed, never a player of the decade though. Quote
Jute Posted December 30, 2009 Report Posted December 30, 2009 Mackie?? Is that purely for the Dinipro goal? Quote
RDU_64 Posted December 30, 2009 Report Posted December 30, 2009 It highlights the lack of talent we have had at left back, before Foster is anywhere near a 'team of the decade'. I assume many people would put Hart at right back and then switch McNaughton over to left back. Quote
Penfold Posted December 30, 2009 Report Posted December 30, 2009 I assume many people would put Hart at right back and then switch McNaughton over to left back. Aye. Also, is that Dan or Jonathan Smith? Quote
Penfold Posted December 30, 2009 Report Posted December 30, 2009 Omitted him due to his lack of ever having played for us. Quote
Reekie_Red Posted December 31, 2009 Report Posted December 31, 2009 It highlights the lack of talent we have had at left back, before Foster is anywhere near a 'team of the decade'. In my opinion, all it does is shows the lack of talent writing for the EE these days. Mackie should be nowhere near ANY Aberdeen side, nevermind near the Team Of The Decade. Just cos he's been playing for the Dons throughout the entire decade doesn't automatically make him worthy of being nominated for the best team of the past ten years. Quote
Madbadteacher Posted December 31, 2009 Report Posted December 31, 2009 Te frightening thing for me is how easy it'd be to pick a "shitest" team of the decade........ or 2 or 3 including subs! Quote
Reekie_Red Posted December 31, 2009 Report Posted December 31, 2009 Haha. Alright then. http://www.donstalk.co.uk/messageboard/index.php/topic,10285.0.html Quote
