rocknroll Posted January 11, 2010 Report Posted January 11, 2010 He might mean for the OF to play each other? Quote
tsr Posted January 11, 2010 Report Posted January 11, 2010 I did, clearly i'd prefer for them to get punted out but if they get through would rather they got each other. Quote

maverick sheep Posted January 21, 2010 Report Posted January 21, 2010 Dunfermline reinstated! Fucking SFA cockmunchers. Our game is a joke, run by a bunch of clowns. Quote
Guest rocket debris Posted January 21, 2010 Report Posted January 21, 2010 Dunfermline reinstated! Fucking SFA cockmunchers. Our game is a joke, run by a bunch of clowns. I had an awful feeling this might happen. The honest mistake line used by Leishman doesn't cut it. The rules are clear. If they are too thick not to know them, especially in this open and shut case, then they should be shot on principle. The SFA are a joke. The country is a joke. You are all jokes. The world is a joke. But only the retard fifers are laffing. Quote

Aberdeen_Ladette Posted January 22, 2010 Report Posted January 22, 2010 Hi all fae sunny Tenerife Hoping Raith win the replay v Airdrie. Braw "away" tie for me Quote
Reekie_Red Posted January 22, 2010 Report Posted January 22, 2010 Apparently Gordon Smith didn't agree with the appeal decision. Fuckin joke how even the cup's governing body can be overruled by an independent advisory committee. A team who break FOUR rules in one game can be brought back into the cup by an independent committee, despite the opposing views of the competition's governing body? That's just yet another prime example of how fucked up Scottish football is Quote
tlg1903 Posted January 22, 2010 Report Posted January 22, 2010 Replaying the game was what the decision should have been in the first place imo Quote

That's just yet another prime example of how fucked up Scottish football is The original decision had no merit in it whatsoever imo, its not an admin competition its about playing on the park and I don't agree there was blatant cheating going on, the boy was at fault for their goal from what i've read! yeah they should be above making mistakes at professional level but for me the right decision would have been a fine. Hope they pump the tic out and Raith game finally goes ahead this week also! Quote
Reekie_Red Posted January 23, 2010 Report Posted January 23, 2010 I know it's not an admin competition. But what do Red Cards count for, in that light? Rules of the game state that a red card incurs at least a one-match ban. Fact of the matter is Dumb-fermline fielded a player who should've been serving a one-match ban. The SFA send a list of all banned players around before the games, so the Pars had no excuse for disobeying the rules of the game. They also listed players on the teamsheet who they had not registered for this competition. Yes, it's about playing on the park. But if everyone showed such disregard for the rules as Dumb-fermline have, the game would be in an even bigger shambles than it is just now. Quote
TENEMENTFUNSTER Posted January 24, 2010 Report Posted January 24, 2010 Dunfermline should be out. And torched. Quote
rocknroll Posted January 25, 2010 Report Posted January 25, 2010 Raith 1-1 Airdrie replay wednesday. Quote
Ajja Posted January 25, 2010 Report Posted January 25, 2010 Phew. Tried to make us go to Airdrie, we said NO NO NO. Quote
dave_min Posted January 26, 2010 Report Posted January 26, 2010 Raith 1-1 Airdrie replay wednesday. As in the Wednesday we play Hearts? Surely not? Quote
Ajja Posted January 26, 2010 Report Posted January 26, 2010 Still confident the RRFC will turn those Buckie swilling tinks over. They were down to 10 men for the bulk of the game and still got a draw. While I want to see Raith through as it will make for a better cup experience I suspect Airdrie would be the easier draw. Quote
rocknroll Posted January 26, 2010 Report Posted January 26, 2010 As in the Wednesday we play Hearts? Surely not? Aye, both teams will be goosed considering they are mostly part - time and played three games in five days. Quote
Ptayles Posted January 26, 2010 Report Posted January 26, 2010 I would rather take Raith just sheerly for a better day out Quote
Guest rocket debris Posted January 26, 2010 Report Posted January 26, 2010 RR preferred. Agree a slightly harder proposition but if we have any aspirations then any lower division outfit should be disposable of. Even if we are a genuinely competitive SPL side - and with a budget in the top half of the country, why shouldn't we be - then a professionally prepared team doing a professional job should be enough. It was the fat balloon's repeated failures in cup competitions that ultimately turned the fans against him, thereby consigning him to his right levels of mediocrity for the rest of his thick arsed life. What a brilliant piece of fishing there! Absolute belter. What does our previous cup record have anything whatsoever with is being discussed just now? And haven't we exhausted the Calderwood talk? And our dismal record in cup competitions? And our agreement that it was the cup competitions that proved Calderwood's downfall? Christ. Stop clinging onto your fingertips with Willie Miller and Jimmy Calderwood and support the team under Mark McGhee! Time moves on, managers move on, players move on, try and keep up. Oh and your point regarding our awful cup record was very well put. Gives the impression that you are very intelligent. Quote
