sooth_stander Posted March 13, 2007 Report Posted March 13, 2007 Couldn't hear in the boozer if it was tactical or if he was injured? Didn't look like he was injured as he ran off. Quote
sooth_stander Posted March 13, 2007 Author Report Posted March 13, 2007 He was looking pretty composed on the ball up till then too, although Zander did well when he came on. Quote
Proud9 Posted March 13, 2007 Report Posted March 13, 2007 See the look on Jimmys face when he came off, wasn't happy Quote
sooth_stander Posted March 13, 2007 Author Report Posted March 13, 2007 The fella had been plauged by injury for about 2 years afore he came to AFC, so it shouldn't be too much of a suprise to JC. is it a 2 yr contract extension that we've offered him? Quote
Guest boaby Posted March 13, 2007 Report Posted March 13, 2007 He was looking pretty composed on the ball up till then too, although Zander did well when he came on. thought Zander was woeful. Skinned repeatedly by McDonald. Once resulting in them hitting the post and once resulting in Langfield's brilliant save. Another couple were covered by Hart's pace. I was near shitting myself every time Zander was involved. A pity that Touzani is out. We will need cool heads at Ibrox. Quote
Guest Nebitdag Posted March 13, 2007 Report Posted March 13, 2007 Another injury for a guy who was injury-prone before he came to us and has now limped off with injury in 3 or 4 comeback games. Taxi for Touzani. Quote
Guest BTR Posted March 14, 2007 Report Posted March 14, 2007 I hope he was injured because I thought he was bloody terrible for the half hour he was on. Quote
TheChimp Posted March 14, 2007 Report Posted March 14, 2007 His distribution out of defence looked pretty woeful. Quote
Guest Paulo Posted March 14, 2007 Report Posted March 14, 2007 Yeh i would be surprised if he signed a new contract. Saw Jimmy look at him as if to say, "What the fuck is wrong with you now?" Quote

I would much rather have Touzani playing against Rangers than Diamond. Every time Zander gets near the ball, I fear the worst. I do think Touzani will be on his way now though. Quote
Guest Nebitdag Posted March 14, 2007 Report Posted March 14, 2007 Stick with a 4-4-2 at Ibrox, then there's no need for Zander either. Why Calderwood is so keen on this 5-3-2 is beyond me.............this would involve Hart and Foster having the ability to deliver a final ball. It also means Rickaldinho has to think too much..............just let him concentrate on defending, particularly against Nacho H0mo who always gives us problems. Quote
Drewsome Posted March 14, 2007 Report Posted March 14, 2007 I certainly would be looking for another Central Midfielder to replace Touzani. Guy has spent too much time injured. I think the Scottish Premier Level is too much for him. Quote

I think the Zander was skinned twice in the build up to the shot that hit the post. I like the look of Touzani but do we really need another Booth, Whelan or Bernard type physio chair warmer? Quote
Drewsome Posted March 14, 2007 Report Posted March 14, 2007 Wasn't Whelan injury prone too? (usually in training if I remember right?) Quote
