Was it the car, the cigar or his coiffered bouffant hair that gave you the impression that he was a "flash cunt"?

If it was S Type, he's just sad. If not Havana, he's a fake. The dyed bouf is pretentiousness. Mine is an old E, a Regal King Size and bald so it wasn't me.

Yes yanking, no E type. Not bald either. One out of three aint bad. Had an X type 2.5 about 7 or 8 years ago but got rid of it after 8 months. So expensive to run and just a Ford. Got offered a British Racing Green E type late 90's which was mint condition but £27k for old technology? I wouldn't have given him 5 for it. Shocking vehicle, dated terribly. Shite to drive.

Kiriakov wasn't a wingback. Was a waste-of-space like most of our midfielders around that time. But wasn't a wingback. Tzvetanov played right-back a few times, but like I said at the beginning of this poll I'm not going to mention ALL players from the past two decades ... just the ones worth mentioning. I'm trying my best to forget about those Vulgar Bulgars.

Not really sure what position was his natural position (as far away from the pitch as possible was where I liked to see him). But I remember seeing him play right across the back line under Aitken's reign ... cannae remember if he was still here under Alex Miller, I don't really remember Miller using him so he might've left before that horrible period in AFC's history.

I do remember watching "Masters Football" on the tele years ago, and Tzvetanov was representing Aberdeen and he played in a left-defensive role in that game, so you might be right in saying he was naturally a left-back.

Tzvetenov only ever played left back. He was marginally better than Colin Woodthorpe (remember him?)

Kiriakov was a combative (hah!) central midfielder signed from Anorthosis Famagusta who occasionaly filled in at right back. Kiriakov occasionally played well but unfortunately Aberdeen casino was more of a love than playing football.

Both Bulgarian internationalists until the bright lights of Aberdeen got to them...

Correct.  Tzvetanov was definitely a left back and his right foot was only for standing on.  Had a cracking debut v Celtic in the first game of the season, went downhill rapidly after that.

Kiriakov played right back mostly for Bulgaria at the time but played midfield for Famagusta and played midfield for us mostly too but did have the occassional appearance at right back. He was equally ineffective in both.

To think the two of them were involved in a World Cup Semi Final only two years before signing for us...

Kiriakov's preferred position was left back, where he played for Bulgaria.  He played in midfield as well obviously, but I'm convinced left back was his natural position.

Surely Kiriakov's preferred position was at the black jack table with a vodka in hand.

Either way, the only point I was trying to make was that he deserved to be in the poll ahead of Maybury, Smith  ??? and Mulgrew!

To be honest, I'd say Tzvetanov would be in there ahead of him as he was at least an out and out full back for us, still think Kiriakov played most of his matches for us in midfield.. but his time is something I'm not too keen to remember and my memory may be playing tricks on me with regards to that.

I remember being really excited when we signed Kiriakov. On the whole he was gash, he did have some tremendous matches though. I seem to remember him totally dominating the midfield in a 2-1 win at Tynecastle. Imo he lacked motivation and was a perfect example of a mercenary.

On another note someone slated McNaughton but read review of Chelsea - Cardiff where the journo said McNaughton was outstanding so good to see he's still got it :)
