Wasn't at today's game but the game on Wednesday he played absolutely awfully. In the first half I was convinced if Hearts were going to equalise it would come from a Grassi mistake. He was probably the poorest player on the pitch and I'm including an awful Hearts team in that assessment.

He is poor, bit disappointed that McGhee publicly praised his performance on Wednesday but didn't have the guts to drop him as I thought he must have privately acknowledged how bad this guy was.

Hopefully he will be bombed out the squad on Tuesday.

Both Grassi and Ifil give the impression that even though they can get through 90 minutes without doing anything wrong, a massive horrendous calamity of a performance is right round the corner. Sounds like today was that day.

If we don't sign a defender of some description before the window closes, we'llbe in trouble, especially with Considine out for the season and Ross gone.

Haven't seen him in the flesh but wht I've seen on TV he at least has bottle.

Ifil is worse than David Winnie.

You serious? Grassi is worse than David Winnie but Ifil in general since arriving at AFC is a good defender, his distribution is awful but don't know where your coming from here like.

DAVID Grassi was today urged to grab his chance to secure a new Aberdeen FC deal.

Jim Paterson’s Achilles tendon injury has opened the door for Italian defender Grassi to come back in from the cold after having been used only sparingly in recent weeks.

Aberdeen FC boss Mark McGhee confirmed the 24-year-old will start Saturday’s high noon SPL shoot with Hearts at Pittodrie.

And he challenged the former Parma and Espanyol player, whose contract with Aberdeen expires in the summer, to make good use of the opportunity that has been handed to him.

He reminds me of Bossu. Completely lacking in basic football ability but occasionally gets lucky enough that he can get through a match without being exposed. It's the way he does things like try to tackle someone or jump for a header, I've never seen any other player with such a complete lack of technique.
