Good article, and well balanced in pointing out the fact that some Dons fans would never, ever accept Calderwood together with the fact that The Slug himself was touting himself around at certain points.

 

For me the most salient point is the mention of 'implausible' statements from McGhee about getting the 'right players in'....something I completely agree with.

 

It's pie in the sky to think we're going to get in anything but dross and kids.

 

I can't be the only one pining for the days when we signed Seve, Nicholson, Miller, Smith etc.

With regards to the article it certainly seems balanced enough. I was worried it was going to be an article that just felt sorry for jc. Thankfully there was some realism there.
