Reekie_Red Posted March 16, 2010 Author Report Posted March 16, 2010 We can speculate by looking around at what is actually happening in the real world. Surely they don't just talk and talk and talk and talk in the boardroom. Surely decisions are made now and then. When did you last see anything pro-fans coming out of the Aberdeen Football Club boardroom in the past ten years? I can't remember anything other than the centenary year, and that was organised by a specialist committee. Therefore, CG in my view is not worth his place on the board. Quote
mizer Posted April 13, 2010 Report Posted April 13, 2010 Right folks. A fair bit of work has been going on in the background setting up the new fans group. Boring stuff, bank accounts, constitutions etc. A website is being designed but is not ready yet. However, THE DONS NEED US NOW ! I have asked the old ultra's to break out the flags etc. and they have agreed. Red and White stuff, no ultra's slogans etc. Thanks lads that is a great help. It's far too early to get into any arguments with any of you regarding the new club but we need all the help we can get for Saturday. We will congregate in the South Stand, sections X and Y Anyone in the Dick Donald please organise some bunching together and noise making. Main Stand boys just please refrain from spitting at the manager. This is important lads & lassies , Lets make Pittodrie rock on Saturday. All season ticket holders can get a free ticket for a mate as well so lets get right behind the team. Red Army 12 Quote
tsr Posted April 13, 2010 Report Posted April 13, 2010 Hi to all, As we are all aware Saturday marks a huge game in Aberdeen FC season and the club are encouraging the fans to back the team by offering free tickets for season ticket holders to give to non season ticket holding Aberdeen supporters in a bid to boost the attendance. A group of Aberdeen supporters will congregate in Section X possibly extending to Y of the South Stand to display vocal support to the team on Saturday. The club has also approved that there will also be some red and white chequered flags on display before the game - that won't be used during play. We would like to invite all who are taking advantage of the free ticket offer to congregate in the above areas on Saturday to support the team. I'm sure wherever folk may be on Saturday they will back the club but we hope by everyone congregating in this area that it will help boost the noise created and show support for the club that we all love irrespective of our individual views on players/manager/directors/Angus The Bull.
