Superstar Tradesman Posted February 27, 2010 Report Posted February 27, 2010 You've lost the dressing room, you can't buy a win, fans are turning their back on the club, you've no money to spend, etc, etc........... What would you do to turn it all around? Quote
dave_min Posted February 27, 2010 Report Posted February 27, 2010 I wouldn't, I'd quit before I got sacked. Quote
Well Red Posted February 28, 2010 Report Posted February 28, 2010 I'd start nicking stationery. You don't want to have to buy stuff like biros for the house when you can lift one or two from work. VIctimless crime? Discuss. Quote
octavion Posted February 28, 2010 Report Posted February 28, 2010 swap players from second team and any youth squad and tell them this is your chance , do the bizz or face the same fate the other fuckers face Quote
Ptayles Posted February 28, 2010 Report Posted February 28, 2010 I would start kicking boots and knock over the half time tea tray Quote
Kowalski Posted February 28, 2010 Report Posted February 28, 2010 Strip the captaincy from Kerr and give it to Diamond or Langfield. Drop Kerr and McDonald for a couple of games. Pick a formation (4-4-2) and stick with it. Fine players for poor performances. Phone Jimmy Calderwood for advice. Man up and stop greeting. Quote
Sandaldinho Posted February 28, 2010 Report Posted February 28, 2010 i'd sit in a corner rocking back and forward crying whilst asking the voices in my head to stop talking to me Quote
Well Red Posted February 28, 2010 Report Posted February 28, 2010 Threaten to bum them into last week. That way they know how they got there, they know what's coming next week, and they'd be stuck in a never-ending loop of being-bummed-dom. Quote
redbush Posted February 28, 2010 Report Posted February 28, 2010 i'd sit in a corner rocking back and forward crying whilst asking the voices in my head to stop talking to me That may well be the situation a certain Mr McGhee finds himself in. Quote

Kowalski Posted February 28, 2010 Report Posted February 28, 2010 Why not phone Fergie? No record of working with limited resources. Quote

I'd also like to add in: - Stop talking to the EE - Smash down the boardroom door and demand investment, and if that doesn't work, have an Aston Martin Sale in the club car park, that gotta raise at least a few £10,000's for some new players. Penfold Posted March 1, 2010 Report Posted March 1, 2010 If I were the manager I.... ....wouldnt come out with the utter shite that McGhee has today on RedWeb. Quote
mizer Posted March 1, 2010 Report Posted March 1, 2010 Which was your favourite bit of shite? "us dominating the match""I can't criticise the effort""We'll look at the way Hamilton play, explain to the players the way to play against them and show them it on the training ground" Quote

Bigrobbo72 Posted March 1, 2010 Report Posted March 1, 2010 It was comment after the match, "I thought we deserved to win it". Eh? With hardly a fucking shot at goal? Seek therapy. Quote

Quote
Harcus Posted March 1, 2010 Report Posted March 1, 2010 Why is that shite? It's not. Seems something any sensible manager would do - ie. prepare, especially since Hamilton play 3 at the back, and occasionally 6 in midfield. However, one of the numerous sticks that JC was beaten with was that he too frequently set his team out to combat the opposing one, rather than set out his own team and let them play football. Always seemed far too simplistic to me. If it was as easy as setting your players in a 4-4-2 and sending them out with the instructions 'do good passing boys n score lots of goals', we would all be football managers. Then again, simplicity is right up the JMG street. Quote
Penfold Posted March 1, 2010 Report Posted March 1, 2010 It is the effort comments that are particularly idiotic. The (lack of) effort has been the worst aspect of the performances against Raith, Falkirk and Hearts. Quote

It's all top class keech. Obviously his therapist is doing a great job. Quote
