Unless JC tries a 4-3-1-2 formation...

Or a 3-3-4

or a 2-6-2

or a 2-4-4

or a 5-1-4

or any other fucking stupid formation his tombola comes up with

What the fucking hell!!:

The drama didn't end there however. In the final minute Galal felled substitute Chris Maguire with a punch. The referee immediately sent him off and as Barry Nicholson went over to Maguire to find out how he was the official bizarrely showed the Dons midfielder a red card and he too was sent off.

With the right 3 Defenders, 3-3-4 is actually a very strong offensive formation.  Ran that with my U-16s and almost always scored in buckets.

Bolton's Nicky Hunt got a straight red card in their first match of the Peace Cup tournament here in Korea two weeks ago - despite them still having two more group games to play (and, as it turned out, the final too), he was set to be suspended for the first couple of Premiership matches until the tournament organisers allowed him to pay a 500 quid fine and get the red card nullified.

Would certainly be worth it for us if we could do something like that...

It's pretty stupid how players cautioned or sent off in a PRESEASON FRIENDLY get punished in a league that the opposition don't even play in!!!! The Dons should definitely appeal against this, as the ref could've been an amateur who was refereeing his first ever footy game. Nae exactly an ideal start to our biggest season in over a decade!

we also have arranged another friendly:

Aberdeen confirmed they will face Al-Etesalat tomorrow in their final match of the Egyptian tour. Etesalat also competed in the tournament, playing in the other section. The match has a 5pm kick off (BST) and 7pm local time in Egypt. The squad will head back to the UK on Friday as final preparations are made for the opening SPL fixture at Tannadice on Saturday 4th August.
