mizer Posted March 19, 2010 Report Posted March 19, 2010 Graphs based on: +1 for a win 0 for a draw -1 for a loss Graph 1 showing league games only Graph 2 showing league and cup games The longer the season goes on the worse we are getting rather than McGhee being able to steady the ship. Things should become easier post split as we play smaller teams in the bottom six - however currently we have the 11th worst record in the league v the bottom 6 teams with us only gaining 1 point more than Hamilton. Cowie Posted March 19, 2010 Report Posted March 19, 2010 Things should become easier post split as we play smaller teams in the bottom six - however currently we have the 11th worst record in the league v the bottom 6 teams with us only gaining 1 point more than Hamilton. Thats it though - every time we play the 'shite' teams, we struggle to break them down, lose a soft goal & end up scrabbling for a draw (or getting beat). I actually do think that there is enough quality in the squad to break down & beat the majority of the teams in lower half of the league.. but there seems to be an apathy about the team which results in these bad results. whether MM just aint a good enough motivator to get the confidence levels back up - I don't know, but the longer we go without a win, the worse the problem will get. TENEMENTFUNSTER Posted March 19, 2010 Report Posted March 19, 2010 We'll get a triple word score tomorrow. That word will need to be quzzzzuq! Quote
Kowalski Posted March 19, 2010 Report Posted March 19, 2010 Aberdeen FC face prospect of matching worst run in history Failure to beat United would equal record Published: 19/03/2010 ABERDEEN FC must beat Dundee United tomorrow to avoid equalling the club record for the longest run of matches without a victory. Aberdeen FC have gone 11 games without a win twice before, way back in seasons 1916-17 and 1926-1927. A*** M***** went close to making it an unwanted hat-trick in 1998, the last time Aberdeen FC went 10 games without a victory. No Aberdeen FC team has ever gone 12 games without a win. Quote
maverick sheep Posted March 19, 2010 Report Posted March 19, 2010 That word will need to be quzzzzuq! "Fuckers" http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1092613/Mothers-fury-Nintendo-Scrabble-game-taught-son-swear-words.html Mrs Carrington tried out the program for herself on Ethan's hand-held DS console and was taken aback when her 'opponent' laid down the word 't*ts'. The game also gives a definition of words it uses, on this occasion giving the meaning 'a garden bird' but also 'an informal word for female breasts'. Any doubt was removed when the next word the computer offered was 'f*ckers', which it defined as 'a slang word for chavs'. As if that wasn't bad enough, it received a triple score and won the game for the character, whose name was Camilla. Quote
Mentorred Posted March 19, 2010 Report Posted March 19, 2010 When your managerial record is mentioned in the same breath as Alex Miller it is time to go. Quote
jmo Posted March 20, 2010 Report Posted March 20, 2010 So this is the worst run of results Aberdeen have had since 1927? And failing a win at St Mirren next Saturday it will be the single worst run of results in Aberdeen's history? Quote
