El Padre™ Posted April 14, 2010 Report Posted April 14, 2010 Haven't been able to use RedTV for months now, keep getting an "internal error". Anyone else had the same problem? I've been in touch with customer services but they can't seem to help. Quote
mizer Posted April 14, 2010 Report Posted April 14, 2010 I tried to open redtv on sunday through IE as Firefox is not supported and it crashed IE repeatedly so I gave up. Quote
El Padre™ Posted April 14, 2010 Author Report Posted April 14, 2010 I can't get it working on any browser at all. It's murder. Quote
glasgowdon Posted April 14, 2010 Report Posted April 14, 2010 Internal error and you changed browser? What is it your trying to watch? Quote
El Padre™ Posted April 14, 2010 Author Report Posted April 14, 2010 Internal error and you changed browser? What is it your trying to watch? Anything at all on RedTV. Got the standard response from Customer services telling me to delete the contents of the DRM folder etc etc, but I have no idea where to find that on Win7, and neither do they it seems. The last suggestion from them was changing browser so I gave it a go and unsurprisingly it still didn't work. Quote
mizer Posted April 14, 2010 Report Posted April 14, 2010 Just checked and I have it working fine here at work. Quote

El Padre™ Posted April 14, 2010 Author Report Posted April 14, 2010 Open up the redtv page in Internet Explorer, then press [alt] [F4] and that should solve the problem Yeah, that should fix it! Quote

Penfold Posted April 15, 2010 Report Posted April 15, 2010 I just got this same "internal error" in Firefox. Have previously been able to watch things fine on this laptop. Opened up the page in IE and it came up with an additional popup asking me to "Allow Access". Didn't read the message properly but it then let me hear the videos, but not see them (I've always had this issue in IE). Reloaded the page in Firefox and it's working now, so it's down to a firewall issue on your PC. Quote
El Padre™ Posted April 15, 2010 Author Report Posted April 15, 2010 Tried that! I can watch highlights now but can't watch interviews and such things. Bloody useless! Quote
Mentorred Posted April 15, 2010 Report Posted April 15, 2010 Tried that! I can watch highlights now but can't watch interviews and such things. Bloody useless! So you cannot hear MM's words of wisdom. Lucky you. Quote
glasgowdon Posted April 15, 2010 Report Posted April 15, 2010 Sounds like an ID10T error. Nothing you can do. Quote
