Kowalski Posted April 16, 2010 Report Posted April 16, 2010 McGhee praises Aberdeen FC skipper Boss wants united effort from players By Charlie Allan Published: 16/04/2010 MARK McGhee wants Aberdeen FC skipper Mark Kerr to get a little more help from his friends in tomorrow’s crucial SPL clash with Falkirk. Aberdeen FC need to beat the Bairns at Pittodrie to ease fears of being dragged into a relegation dogfight. Kerr, a former Falkirk player, will have a key role, despite the barracking he’s been getting from his own fans in recent weeks because he hasn’t been at his very best. Aberdeen FC boss McGhee is happy to stand by under-fire Kerr because he admires the way his skipper has taken all of the flak in his stride. Quote
mizer Posted April 16, 2010 Report Posted April 16, 2010 Im hoping that he is just saying that to get half a performance out of him. Quote
BobbyBiscuit Posted April 16, 2010 Report Posted April 16, 2010 Aberdeen FC boss McGhee is happy to stand by under-fire Kerr because he admires the way his skipper has taken all of the flak in his stride. Surely he should be looking at the reason the flak is heading towards his captain rather than how he handles it? Quote
RedJohn Posted April 16, 2010 Report Posted April 16, 2010 Im hoping that he is just saying that to get half a performance out of him. He'll tell him wants he wants to hear to try and motivate the team captain to ensure our SPL survival - can't understand why the captain needs to be petted - then, once we're safe, he can tell Kerr to pack his bags and try his luck elsewhere! McMaster Posted April 16, 2010 Report Posted April 16, 2010 Admires the way Kerr is taking the flak in his stride . . . . yeah thats because he does'nt give a damn and its water off a ducks back!! Give the captaincy to Diamond. I mean, come on, how thick do you have to be!! The only back-up Kerr needs is when he comes out of Pittodrie if Aberdeen lose!! Quote
manc_don Posted April 17, 2010 Report Posted April 17, 2010 Aye cos we all know he can't eight for shit Quote
Kowalski Posted April 17, 2010 Author Report Posted April 17, 2010 Fucking shocking performance today. He was truly woeful. He could learn a few things about attitude, application, desire, and passing from Derek Young! Quote
maverick sheep Posted April 17, 2010 Report Posted April 17, 2010 I said in chat - as we're safe now I'd be disgusted if I ever see Kerr and the others who won't be here next season ever wearing the shirt again. Grimmer and Fyvie in midfield and don't even have kerr on the bench. Quote
Frogger Posted April 18, 2010 Report Posted April 18, 2010 Can't accuse Kerr of not getting stuck in and can break play up but sweet jesus, I counted two passes to a red shirt! Simple stuff dude. Cant do that can't be a footballer and I hope the Manager does see this. If not then questions need to be asked and an eyebrow or two raised. Quote
