mizer Posted July 29, 2007 Author Report Posted July 29, 2007 At 6ft 4 I was unable to physically sit down without turning at an angle to the empty seat next to me. Sheerluck that person couldnt make the game. Im not exaggerating either. As i went to sit down i dropped about 6in and my shins hit the top of the hardwood seat back infront of me. I fell back a bit and lowered myself about 2in further and my ass hit the back of my seat. I was wedged and my shins were screaming in pain. Had to actualy be hauled out by my mate as for this game 11am megabus out of glasgow. Arrive at 1325 and walk in the general direction of the stadium hopefully reaching one of the pubs in time to hand over money to the GUASC. and its the Jerry Kerr stand again You will be lucky to get into the boozer at 2ish Quote
Guest harchester-red Posted July 30, 2007 Report Posted July 30, 2007 Seconded, the pubs will be far too heaving to make any sort of attempt to make your way through them Quote
Unit Posted July 30, 2007 Report Posted July 30, 2007 Boarding the 0937 train at Aberdeen, Clep by opening time then short stroll/stagger to game. Cautiously optimistic Unit Quote
Drewsome Posted July 31, 2007 Report Posted July 31, 2007 You could always do what the Lads Fae Forres did on my last trip over... Board the train with 5 bottles of Buckfast each! Quote

GlezgaRed Posted August 1, 2007 Report Posted August 1, 2007 I'll be in attendance, shed front row offically. May desert the clep rd pubs for a city centre one showing the Huns defeat to ICT Quote
mizer Posted August 1, 2007 Author Report Posted August 1, 2007 Is that warm enough for sandals? Oi, less of that back chat! Were you a lurker on the old site or what was your old username - cheeky git Quote
Aberdeen_Ladette Posted August 2, 2007 Report Posted August 2, 2007 , may be wrong but think i know who wants to wear sandals!! As some of you know fae elsewhere, despite trying all options to change shift I am working on Saturday Hopefully fate, as last game I missed there we won 2-3 For the guys in Jerry Kerr stand that would incur injuries if they have to sit down .... when asked too, surely you within your rights to refuse on health & safety grounds? Quote
TheChimp Posted August 2, 2007 Report Posted August 2, 2007 The forecast has changed We'll be stuck in a pub anyway! Quote
mizer Posted August 2, 2007 Author Report Posted August 2, 2007 The walk from the pub to the ground, waiting in line for a pie, walking to the pisser, after the game - we will get wet Quote
chunk Posted August 2, 2007 Report Posted August 2, 2007 That only indicates showers at some point on Saturday. Out of that 24 hour period you are probably only going to be in Dundee for maybe 6-7 of them? That is less than a third of the day. And of that time, you will be undercover for at least 75% of it. You'll stay dry. Quote
Superstar Tradesman Posted August 2, 2007 Report Posted August 2, 2007 Is that warm enough for sandals? Oi, less of that back chat! Were you a lurker on the old site or what was your old username - cheeky git I believe I was the cheeky git who first pulled you up about said girly footwear. I also wasn't too keen on lurkers. Quote
