Guest donindundonald Posted May 6, 2010 Report Posted May 6, 2010 Is there one single player on earth that would make a considerable difference to AFC's performance this season? i.e. would wayne rooney be able to turn us round or would he get dragged down by the rest of the dross? Quote
dave_min Posted May 6, 2010 Report Posted May 6, 2010 Yeah, ex-Birmingham Superstar James Calderwood could have turned us round this season Quote
Mentorred Posted May 6, 2010 Report Posted May 6, 2010 Mark Kerr... Not playing would have improved our season. Quote
One Bobby Clark Posted May 6, 2010 Report Posted May 6, 2010 Is there one single player on earth that would make a considerable difference to AFC's performance this season? No Quote
baggy89 Posted May 6, 2010 Report Posted May 6, 2010 Lee Mair Ha! Ha! I was going to suggest that users of another forum may have suggested Lee Mair and Scott Severin. Quote
maverick sheep Posted May 6, 2010 Report Posted May 6, 2010 I like how the question implies that having Wayne Rooney wouldn't have improved the team. The answer, yes. Yes, Wayne Rooney would clearly have made AFC a better team his season. Or even better, Messi...or 1 of maybe 1 or 2 hundred players who are of a quality we can't recruit. Next question? Quote
tsr Posted May 6, 2010 Report Posted May 6, 2010 Strange question, if you mean type I would suggest an attacking midfielder such as Paul Mason would have made a difference but world class players make a difference whoever they play for. Quote
bilbobaggins Posted May 7, 2010 Report Posted May 7, 2010 Zlatan Ibrahimovic? Although judging by the pictures I saw of him today I don't think he's single anymore. Quote
