mizer Posted June 25, 2010 Report Posted June 25, 2010 ......I didnt think it meant this. ABERDEEN FC are entering the Evening Express Aberdeenshire Cup for the first time in six years this season. Aberdeen FC pulled out of the competition in season 2005/06 in a bid to cut down the workload on their squad. But with no SPL reserve league anymore, the Pittodrie outfit have made the decision to end a six-year absence from the second oldest cup competition in Scotland. Quote
Guest ally s Posted June 25, 2010 Report Posted June 25, 2010 No doubt some will attempt to find negatives in this. Quote
TENEMENTFUNSTER Posted June 25, 2010 Report Posted June 25, 2010 No doubt some will attempt to find negatives in this. Is being utterly ambivalent negative? Quote
Guest Scarface Posted June 25, 2010 Report Posted June 25, 2010 Is being utterly ambivalent negative? I think you mean "indifferent". Quote
TENEMENTFUNSTER Posted June 25, 2010 Report Posted June 25, 2010 I think you mean "indifferent". No. I'm pretty conflicted about this. I think it's a good idea to enter some sort of team into the cup, but Mizer gets on ma tits. Quote
dave_min Posted June 25, 2010 Report Posted June 25, 2010 No. I'm pretty conflicted about this. I think it's a good idea to enter some sort of team into the cup, but Mizer gets on ma tits. Like this? Quote

jmo Posted June 25, 2010 Report Posted June 25, 2010 If Aberdeen somehow manage to make it to the final would the SPL fixture get moved for the Aberdeenshire cup? Quote
Ptayles Posted June 25, 2010 Report Posted June 25, 2010 Its disappointing that we have not got a home tie! Quote
dave_min Posted June 26, 2010 Report Posted June 26, 2010 If Aberdeen somehow manage to make it to the final would the SPL fixture get moved for the Aberdeenshire cup? Nope. It's normally our reserves/under 19's who play, not our 1st team anyway. Quote
Mentorred Posted June 26, 2010 Report Posted June 26, 2010 Do we get into the Europa League if we win it? Quote
Stewart Posted June 26, 2010 Report Posted June 26, 2010 Its disappointing that we have not got a home tie! Think it normally gets switched anyway. Quote
Goldie03 Posted June 26, 2010 Report Posted June 26, 2010 Nope. It's normally our reserves/under 19's who play, not our 1st team anyway. That will be our first team next season Quote
Kowalski Posted July 3, 2010 Report Posted July 3, 2010 Well I think it's a good move, as it'll surely be the under 19s which will be some good competitive games for them. Quote
Kowalski Posted July 3, 2010 Report Posted July 3, 2010 If the current "1st team" squad is anything to go by, the under 19 squad probably ranges in age from 11 to 15! Just how you like them Quote
