baggy89 Posted October 31, 2011 Report Posted October 31, 2011 Could just have easily been posted in "filthy hun news" as he more than fits the description I wasn't suggesting that where Manc should have posted it, merely offering a reason as to why he's signed for Donny. Quote
BigAl Posted October 31, 2011 Report Posted October 31, 2011 I wasn't suggesting that where Manc should have posted it, merely offering a reason as to why he's signed for Donny. No worries Baggy, wasn't for a second suggesting that, merely highlighting that that prick is a filthy hun Quote

manc_don Posted November 17, 2011 Author Report Posted November 17, 2011 Always seemed very solid at CB, was it the munich game where he had a stormer? Quote
TENEMENTFUNSTER Posted November 17, 2011 Report Posted November 17, 2011 Always seemed very solid at CB, was it the munich game where he had a stormer? Had several, notably against Copenhagen too. An unmitigated disaster at FB though. Quote
tlg1903 Posted November 17, 2011 Report Posted November 17, 2011 Had several, notably against Copenhagen too. An unmitigated disaster at FB though. which unfortunately is where he played most games. He was cavalier going forward though, often wondered if he might suit left midfield Quote
BobbyBiscuit Posted November 17, 2011 Report Posted November 17, 2011 which unfortunately is where he played most games. He was cavalier going forward though, often wondered if he might suit left midfield A horrendous touch would suggest "probably not" Quote
tlg1903 Posted November 17, 2011 Report Posted November 17, 2011 A horrendous touch would suggest "probably not" True but I was meaning more he was quick, built like a tank and liked going forward. At full back he caused a lot of problems when he went on the overlap and had an alright cross. Unfortunatley this was always tempered with the minimum 3 major fuck ups a game when he was in (and i use this word loosely) position. Moving him forward potentially could have been good for him. Pointless speculation now Quote
BobbyBiscuit Posted November 17, 2011 Report Posted November 17, 2011 True but I was meaning more he was quick, built like a tank and liked going forward. Thought you were talking about Ted McMinn there... Quote
Harcus Posted November 17, 2011 Report Posted November 17, 2011 Richie Byrne is signing for Dundee United according to the Sun. Hope the play him at full back. It would appear he's working as a personal trainer in London http://twitter.com/#!/byrnerichieb Loves twitter too Quote
glasgow sheep Posted November 17, 2011 Report Posted November 17, 2011 He presented me with my cheque when I won the half time draw a few years back. He was in plaster at the time thus free for such promotional activity. Seemed a decent enough bloke, but then he was giving me a great big cheque. Do they even do the half time draw anymore? Quote
