Not a bad player, just a really poor captain and seemingly a bitter little shite.

His last season he was woeful and deserved all the abuse he got. I really had high hopes for him, and his first season he seemed to play pretty consistently. Horrific captain.

I see Falkirk have sold two lads for 6 figure sums, one for £700,000!!

Huddersfield have signed centre-half Murray Wallace and striker Kallum Higginbotham from Scottish First Division side Falkirk.

Wallace, 19, made his Bairns debut in August and has since made 22 starts for Steven Pressley's side.

The initial fee is £300,000 rising to £700,000 and he will play for Falkirk on loan until the end of the season.

Higginbotham, 22, began his career at Oldham and moves from Falkirk for what the Bairns say is a "six-figure sum".

His deal at Huddersfield does not involve a loan back to the club.

Anyone got a team by team list of transfers?  All Good Morning Scotland talked about was Jalavic and folk that celtic didn't sign

Agreed. Defoe is a better player and even he doesn't get a game.

Don't agree. Defoe isn't a better player than Saha. If you keep Saha fit (a big if, for sure) he can get you any type of goal; headers, long range, poacher-type goals... superb in the air, quick and is a brilliant link up player.  Defoe is a good player and one I've always liked but he doesn't have the all-round game Saha does.  Maybe Saha's injuries have caught up with him as he has been off the boil at Everton so far this season, but he definitely benefits playing in a team who like to get the ball wide, as Spurs do.

Wow! I didn't realise HIVs had so many loan players coming in!  :o

I suppose they needed some drastic action though.

Need to wonder if loan players are really going to give a fuck about their predicament.  Hibs are a woeful side and I think Fenlon was a really weak appointment, but I reckon it'd be pretty bad for the SPL if they were to go out of it.

I see Craig Gordon has been released by Sunderland.  Surprised how badly he did down there but suppose he never really got a decent run at it after some terrible injuries.  Wonder where he'll end up, suppose he'll be targeted by Sally and Mr Green's warchest  ::)

Back-up to one of the aging epl goalies I'd guess.

Why?

Reliable, good goalie, free and probably reasonable wage demands, and if he only makes say 6-10 appearances unlikely to be as injury prone.

Or maybe a target for one of the promoted sides?

I was asking my Mackem mate about this last night and he informed me that he has only been released as there is a clause in his contract that Sunderland must pay Hearts some more cash if he plays one more game.

So he's getting released and then re-signed.

If true, excellent. Fuck Hearts.
