If he's a genuinelygood player, our not being able to pay 200k is a bigger issue Quote

If he's going for £8.2m I'm gutted that Liverpool aren't all over that. Seems odd. Hasn't played for Inter for months because he rejected a hefty wage cut. Why Inter wanted to force him out I don't know. Absolutely cracking player. Quote

Think Inter are serious financial trouble so possible they need him out to get money in and also reduce the wages bill. Quote

Not sure what's going on here. He probably would have settled for what he was on at Inter and in England there are several clubs that can pay that. Not sure if they need a CM. Cleverly seems to have come on leaps and bounds over the past few months and Carrick seems to be showing the form he was signed for. Quote
