manc_don Posted July 16, 2013 Author Report Posted July 16, 2013 I see Moyes is looking to sign both Fibreglass and Fellaini for united, where the hell does that leave Kagawa?!? Quote
Tyrant Posted July 16, 2013 Report Posted July 16, 2013 The same place as last season. On the bench. Quote
Jute Posted July 16, 2013 Report Posted July 16, 2013 Vine to Hibs from St Johnstone and Saunders from Well to County. Quote
Jute Posted July 16, 2013 Report Posted July 16, 2013 Hooper going to QPR for £5M according to Sky Sports. Wonder if tims will make a move for McGinn as a replacement? Quote

BigAl Posted July 16, 2013 Report Posted July 16, 2013 sure I read somewhere they would look at Billy Sharp if this happened. Thats what i read as well Alternatively if they want to pass us £5m then they can have McGinn Quote
BobbyBiscuit Posted July 17, 2013 Report Posted July 17, 2013 I see Moyes is looking to sign both Fibreglass and Fellaini for united, where the hell does that leave Kagawa?!? Fellaini is never a United style player. I hope Kagawa features heavily next season, absolutely superb player. Quote
manc_don Posted July 17, 2013 Author Report Posted July 17, 2013 Fellaini is never a United style player. I hope Kagawa features heavily next season, absolutely superb player. Precisely, national bias aside, the confederations cup showed us exactly what he we knew he was capable of. Hopefully he just needed a season to bed in at United and Moyes uses him correctly. Regards to Fellaini, i could easily see him at Chelsea, suits his style of play. Quote
TENEMENTFUNSTER Posted July 17, 2013 Report Posted July 17, 2013 I think Fellaini is exactly what the United midfield is needing. Him and Kagawa would be a great prospect and, though it seems unlikely, Fibreglass with them would be some midfield. Quote
Kowalski Posted July 17, 2013 Report Posted July 17, 2013 If Chelsea are offering cash + Mata for Rooney then I think that might not be a bad deal? Quote
manc_don Posted July 17, 2013 Author Report Posted July 17, 2013 If Chelsea are offering cash + Mata for Rooney then I think that might not be a bad deal? They'd be completely stupid to offer him. By far one of their stand outs last season. Quote
Kowalski Posted July 17, 2013 Report Posted July 17, 2013 They'd be completely stupid to offer him. By far one of their stand outs last season. Agreed but the BBC are saying it was Mata or Luiz they were offering. Quote
TENEMENTFUNSTER Posted July 17, 2013 Report Posted July 17, 2013 10 mill plus Mata? On the face of things that's not a bad deal, get rid of what has been a largely disruptive influence and also get a cracking player plus 10 million. Assuming its Mata of course. If it isn't, then it's not. Quote
TENEMENTFUNSTER Posted July 17, 2013 Report Posted July 17, 2013 But is anyone really surprised that a guy that was repeatedly dropped last season and was way short of form isn't considered no. 1 behind RvP? Rooney is a fucking neanderthal and I would love United to hold the guy to his contract. Quote
baggy89 Posted July 17, 2013 Report Posted July 17, 2013 But they have Kagawa and Carrick they don't need another pendulum like CM (Kagawa being a mobile version) what they need is a Fletcher and I don't think Fellani nor Fabregas is that player. Then again not certain I can name a world class midfielder who is of a similar mould... Quote
Kowalski Posted July 24, 2013 Report Posted July 24, 2013 Anyone else perplexed by Arsenal going after Suarez? He doesn't strike me as a typical Arsenal player, and will only cause Arsene some grief. He's more likely to end up at the likes of Real Madrid IMHO. Quote
CtS Posted July 24, 2013 Report Posted July 24, 2013 I'm more perplexed at Liverpool refusing to sell at that price, given his track record I'd have bitten their hand off (pun intended). Quote
Tyrant Posted July 24, 2013 Report Posted July 24, 2013 I am perplexed, Kow. Perplexed that Arsenal are suddenly going after ready-made players that cost money. That's not been their style. Why any team wouldn't want Suarez is beyond me. Why yous can't figure that out is beyond me too. Aye ok, there's a mean streak to him that will see him pick up suspensions now and again but for the love of fuck, what a player the man is. I'm absolutely gutted that he wants to go to Arsenal also delighted that Liverpool aren't letting themselves get bent over just because the player wants to leave and are holding out for a value that suits them as they are entitled to do. And I can see their logic. Cavani just went for £55m. He isn't a better player than Suarez. Suarez is worth the same (if not more) to Liverpool was when Torres left and he went for £50m. If any club really wants him they'll have to break the bank. Even with £50m in their hipper Liverpool would not be able to find a replacement of anywhere near the same ability. I hope this helps yous understand why clubs want him. Quote
Kowalski Posted July 24, 2013 Report Posted July 24, 2013 Given all the suspensions he gets, his value should be lower than other decent strikers. Liverpool should be biting Arsenal's hand off as CtS says. A mean streak? He's a filthy cunt. Quote

Liverpool should be biting Arsenal's hand off as CtS says. A mean streak? He's a filthy cunt. Nah. You, sir, have been listing to the hype machine. Karl Henry and to a lesser extent Joey Barton are genuine filthy cunts. Thugs. They have both tried their best to inflict serious injury upon fellow pros and have succeeded in some cases. Battering teenagers in the street and breaking the legs of fellow players, in my opinion, is lower than a half-hearted bite. The player is worth more than £40m to Liverpool. Suspensions or not. Fair play to them I say. Quote
Kowalski Posted July 24, 2013 Report Posted July 24, 2013 A half-hearted bite? LOL. That's real head in the sands stuff if you think that's all he's done. 2 biting incidents, 1 spitting incident, and racist abuse. He's a filthy cunt. Quote
Tyrant Posted July 24, 2013 Report Posted July 24, 2013 Well you seem to have missed my point. I'd feel safer playing against Suarez than against proper thugs such has Henry and Barton. Quote
