dave_min Posted August 1, 2010 Report Posted August 1, 2010 From what I've seen in pre-season sofar, it looks like 12 utterly shite teams in the SPL this year. The worst? I'd say Killie or Helen. I hope to fuck it's not us. Quote
Jute Posted August 1, 2010 Report Posted August 1, 2010 Killie will just pip the paisley junkies to last place. Quote
Guest leith_red Posted August 1, 2010 Report Posted August 1, 2010 Kilmarnock; they've had thier time, it's time for them to go. Quote
BobbyBiscuit Posted August 1, 2010 Report Posted August 1, 2010 Killie, it's about time. 3 votes for the dons so far...nice. Quote
tom_widdows Posted August 1, 2010 Report Posted August 1, 2010 Killie, it's about time. 3 votes for the dons so far...nice. Until it is proved mcghee can field 11 guys who all 'give a fuck' i say those votes are not just cynicism Quote
Madbadteacher Posted August 1, 2010 Report Posted August 1, 2010 Killie. Worst we will do is flirt with the drop then finish 9th Quote
BigAl Posted August 2, 2010 Report Posted August 2, 2010 Cowdenbeath sorry St Midden get my vote Quote

manc_don Posted August 2, 2010 Report Posted August 2, 2010 I'm hoping killie, but for some annoying reason, they always seem to pull it out of the bag Quote
Harcus Posted August 2, 2010 Report Posted August 2, 2010 Can't pick between Killie and St Mirren. I don't think Mixu is a very good manager, and there is no money to spend there, while Danny Lennon appears to be trying to field an SFL XI. Fuck knows. I think we can expect a league of eye-wateringly bad standards though. Quote

I think we can expect a league of eye-wateringly bad standards though. I'm going for Killie. You can only hope can't you? They've managed to dodge bullets for years, can't see them avoiding it this time unless St Helen's Midden really do make a cunt of it. Accies might struggle too this year. But it is going to a ball achingly poor season in terms of the standard of fitba. Quote
Harcus Posted August 2, 2010 Report Posted August 2, 2010 Absolutely, I'm backing Killie all the way to 12th, as I reckon they would surely go under if relegated. The sooner Scottish football starts streamlining (ie get rid of the multitude of shitey clubs) the better. Quote
Slim Posted August 2, 2010 Report Posted August 2, 2010 Killie, St Mirren, Hamilton, ICT are all going to be honking, St Johnstone and Motherwell had good seasons last season but they're both lacking in any sort of quality. Top 6 is apparently our target, but looking at the competition, we should almost be there by default. It's going to be a dire season. Quote

I'm making the assumption Well are going to be using a few youngsters this year, they lost a lot of regulars through end of loans etc, maybe they're confident about what they have or, more likely, they're skinto. Hibs, clearly, will be AWESOME! Quote
Guest ally s Posted August 2, 2010 Report Posted August 2, 2010 St Mirren for the drop I reckon. Lennon's signed some players (Wardlaw and McGregor) who I think would struggle in the 1st division never mind the SPL. I think Mixu will keep Killie up (unfortunately). Quote
tlg1903 Posted August 2, 2010 Report Posted August 2, 2010 Why all the hatred for kilmarnock folks? Hardly rivals as we're usuallyat different ends of the league, geographically they are the furthest away team from aberdeen.............. seems a strange one to me Quote

manc_don Posted August 3, 2010 Report Posted August 3, 2010 Where to start tlg! For the reasons you've mentioned and the fact they have no fans and its a shite away day. Quote
mini59dons Posted August 3, 2010 Report Posted August 3, 2010 I hate them because they spent 2 seasons buying every player who was in talks with Aberdeen. Add some prominent huns to the mix and you've got your answer!! Quote
capitalsharpie Posted August 3, 2010 Report Posted August 3, 2010 Where to start tlg! For the reasons you've mentioned and the fact they have no fans and its a shite away day. Motherwell is also a shocker of an away day if you are taling that into account. Quote
Jute Posted August 3, 2010 Report Posted August 3, 2010 Motherwell is also a shocker of an away day if you are taling that into account. Had some good away days at Motherwell. Cannot think of one at Killie. Shit to get to on public transport then hardly any decent boozers once you get there. Quote

TENEMENTFUNSTER Posted August 3, 2010 Report Posted August 3, 2010 The worst away day was Falkirk and they got relegated. Next worst is Killie. Cheeriebye! Quote
