Kowalski Posted August 10, 2010 Report Posted August 10, 2010 Suddenly when you see the squad, you realise it's looking terribly paper thin. Quote
amp Posted August 10, 2010 Report Posted August 10, 2010 Suddenly when you see the squad, you realise it's looking terribly paper thin. Was just going to post something very similar... We still seem to be suffering from a chronic lack of creativity in the middle of the park, unless hartely and Folly do more than the defensive midfiedler jobs. Quote
bilbobaggins Posted August 10, 2010 Report Posted August 10, 2010 We are two defenders and a central midfield player short in my opinion. Seem to have enough cover up front albeit with maybe a lack of quality, let's see how Vernon gets on though. Where's Grimmer? Quote

We were after an Irish international midfielder until we signed Hartley. He's still available. Quote

Probably just listing those who've been involved in the first team in pre-season. Was Fyvie listed at the start of last year? Quote
bilbobaggins Posted August 10, 2010 Report Posted August 10, 2010 I guess that the challenge will be there for him to break into the first team squad but it's weird because he appears as number 52 on the players profile part. I guess he will be with the youth team most of the season though. For what it's worth I think he should be with the first team squad and be released to the youth team when required. Just my opinion like, he probably needs more football time than simply a place in the first team squad. Quote

Jute Posted August 10, 2010 Report Posted August 10, 2010 Paper thin and some right dross in there. Very few players in that team would make me want to pay £22 to watch them play. Quote
BobbyBiscuit Posted August 12, 2010 Report Posted August 12, 2010 Any of you Weegie Fakers walking up St Vincent Street this morning at 9am with the new Dons top on and "Diamond 5" on the back? if so, you should have got a smaller size of top. Quote
