not sure how you've come to the conclusion my post was sticking up for JC. It was a dig at McGhee, and the utter lack of progress we've made since appointing him.

Your point about the cash spent replacing JC... should we have kept him? as that what your post certainly implies.

YASS! That's what we've all been wanting to do for ages anyway.

Can we go to Blairdrummond Safari Park on Saturday, Jute, Pleeeeeeeeeeeeease, Pretty Pleeeeeease???

;D

You know you have that court order that does not allow you near monkeys or chimps after that incident with the Gorilla, whipped cream and a gimp mask.

I think so yes but me saying that means fuck all as it is very much in the past. The present is wholly unpleasant though and McGhee currently represents a further concentrated version of everything that Calderwood was accused of and criticised for, frequently with justification.

The squad is so utterly without balance and the transfer of Foster for Velicka smacks of desperation and I fear a manager with no fucking clue. Bear in mind he signed 2 strikers and was very much aware of our distinct lack of full backs but decided to compound that. That and doing what Calderwood was derided for constantly, tinkering and playing players out of position.

We are faced with a season based upon the fitness of a couple or 3 creative attacking players who have not proven their reliability, quite the opposite in fact.

We have now descended to not even being told our expectations are too high, no, that's not enough. A win at Fir Park has become such a long shot with a couple of teenagers and a permacripple missing we have little alternative but to play with 5 centre backs and balls it out for a draw.

BB, it is fucking depressing, thoroughly depressing.

All those points may well be true. Not one of them is a reason why we should have kept JC, however. Simple as that really.

Fuck sake BB, did you really expect anyone to bother their hole retreading that old shite how many months/years later?

I'm commenting upon the situation we are in. And it isn't good.

In all my days of supporting the Dons i never ever thought i'd see us play for a point at Fir Park.  Today is quite possibly the single most depressing day of my support.

I thought this was a bit harsh when I first read it this morning, thinking it was just BB's opinion of the game. But now I've read McGhee's quotes about following Rangers example, and realising we did actually go to Fir Park looking for a point, well....I'm astonished at Mcghee's stupidity. What an outrageous admission, one which undermines the belief of dons fans everywhere, and in particular our wonderfull traveling support.

Are we going to play for penalties against Raith?

Mark McGhee went down in my estimation today.

;D  and yet he obviously did.

And if you look at this thread I've already said as much.

The fact he clearly lined the team up to get a nil nil draw.  It wasn't the worst or most depressing performance, but if we're now at a stage where our manager sets us up to get a goalless draw at Fir Park and sees this as a good thing, then what hope is there?  Will he put 7 centre halves across the back when we go to Parkhead and Ibrox?

It was Motherwell for fucks sake McGhee, not Manchester United.

Totally understand what you mean't now BB, and agree it's a disgrace we went to Motherwell to do a "rangers". Was furious to read McG admitting that.
