‘Aberdeen FC’s Maguire can cap it all at Celtic Park’

ABERDEEN FC’s Chris Maguire was today challenged to use Celtic Park as a stage to show he’s ready to perform for Scotland at the highest level.

National coach Craig Levein is considering calling up Aberdeen FC striker Maguire for this month’s friendly clash against the Faroe Islands at Pittodrie.

Aberdeen FC boss Mark McGhee reckons Maguire can guarantee a crack at his first senior cap if he stars in their SPL clash with Celtic in Glasgow. McGhee said: “I’m sure Craig will be keen to see how Chris performs at Celtic Park.

“If Chris hopes to eventually become a star with Scotland he’s going to have to play as well at club level, on a regular basis, as Kenny Miller does.”

How the fuck can he be close to a Scotland cap?

The acid test is not only for Maguire, but for the team in general. They need to convince the fans they're worth watching. That said, i still hope Maguire keeps performing the way he is. Mcghee will have no choice but to keep him there.

Well Unfortunately they all failed.

Is Velicka not out till Xmas?

Are you actually trying to say stoney would come online and post messages about things he knows nothing about?

You don't think he's got better things to do than that?

ABERDEEN FC manager Mark McGhee today revealed on-loan striker Andrius Velicka has no chance of starting at Parkhead on Saturday.

The Lithuanian, on loan from Rangers, is struggling with an ankle injury.

McGhee also revealed Velicka is also unlikely to be fit enough to start against Inverness Caley Thistle at Pittodrie next week.

McGhee said: “Velicka is nowhere near match fit and he will not start for Aberdeen FC against Celtic at the weekend.

“He is not going to be fit for another few weeks.”

Velicka has played just 73 minutes of football since his move from Rangers on the final day of the summer transfer window.

Nothing surprises me anymore about this absolute lunacy that characterises McGhee's managership.

Brings in Velicka, no been fit for years.

Plays him FROM THE FUCKING START, nothing to suggest he's anything like fit or sharp.

Still proceeds to field the cunt and NOW suddenly reckons he's not fit AND won't be for weeks. Should never ever have been near that first team at this stage and to have him replace Maguire against St Mirren was a piece of astoundingly, crushingly awful stupidity especially in view of this latest bit of "news".

Useless motherfucker.
