Kowalski
Not John Hughes!!! Butcher is currently in talks about a new contract at ICT. We'd have to move quick. Jocky Scott would be a good short term appointment t steady the ship. I think Burley might be a good option too.
baggy89
Surely the thread title should be changed from "if" to "now" and "wasn't" to "isn't"
tlg1903
Derek Adams for me, a good friend of mine works in a key role at county and I get a lot of inside knowledge on how he goes about his business. He's a huge Aberdeen fan too

Madbadteacher
Eddie Turnbull for me, we need what he did in the late 60s /early 70s
baggy89
Not Adams out of the frying pan into the fire McInnes if anyone if were going for someone young and relatively untested

Who that'd be I do not know. Bit unlucky with results but been playing quite well. Beat falkirk away today too. I concede its a gamble but who isnt at the moment? I would have trepidation about Jocky Scott on the grounds that he blew it massively at dundee with a squad that should have waltzed the league and that i dont think he has moved with the times with regards to training methods and man management. Guest leith_red
Jocky Scott till the end of the season. Or, Jocky Scott till the end of next season, with a young assistant that can take over when he goes.

Dundee went downhill when he left. Either way, he'd be the steady hand we need and is a good coach. I've got absolutely no idea if his training methods or man management have moved with the times or otherwise to be honest.

TENEMENTFUNSTER
He's on radio now saying "why shouldn't i be the one to lead the team on Tuesday?" No way he can stay BB, utterly untenable position and also having heard the same interview, he's probably quite ill too.
manc_don
The answer in short Mcghee is because you are shite. Leave. Now. Burley, i thought Dundee were losing a lot of games that led him to getting sacked after doing well? We are a mess.

Madbadteacher
I wisnae joking about Turnbull A lot of you youngsters here dont realise that he is the "type" we need right now. He came in in 66(?) and at the end of his first season freed something like 16 first teamers and built a squad that would win games but not be pretty. 2 years later we were cup winners and the only real challengers to cellics 9inarorowgodsfreverjockstein team. We need that now
