Kowalski Posted August 14, 2012 Author Report Posted August 14, 2012 Really? I only paid £4.60 for a pint of Heineken. I fully expected it to be a lot more, especially since the bottles they were selling were going for £4.30 Apart from Maccy D's, I never managed to get any other food because the queues were too long Actually you are right, it was £5 at Hyde Park for a Heineken! Agreed the food queues were too long, everything else was spot on. Straight on a tube after the athletics, and no waiting getting into the park through security. Quote
dave_min Posted August 14, 2012 Report Posted August 14, 2012 Where you getting the pints from? I only seen the £4.30 bottles. What's with them having 2 McD's though? Which one was the biggest one in the world? I don't think I ate anything in any venue though. Also, FYI your information: You can't buy Beer at Lords at 8am. Quote

The Maccy D's towards north Park (by the copper box and hockey arena) was the biggest one. It was the same price as normal ones though they allowed you to have smoothies and juices with your big mac meal rather than just fizzy drinks. Is that normal? The pub situation at lords is pretty poor too. Not many boozers in the area. Quote
Kowalski Posted August 14, 2012 Author Report Posted August 14, 2012 That's where I got pints from! Quote
Superstar Tradesman Posted August 15, 2012 Report Posted August 15, 2012 Not that bad is it? I paid £4 a pint at Heathrow just the other day. Would imagine you're paying close to that for a warm pint of T at the freakshow in Kinross. Quote
