mizer Posted August 15, 2007 Report Posted August 15, 2007 OLD BHOY JACKIE IS DOUBTFUL JACKIE McNAMARA may miss out on the chance to face Celtic for the first time since quitting Parkhead two years ago. The Aberdeen defender was injured in training yesterday and is doubtful for Sunday's match at Pittodrie. Boss Jimmy Calderwood, who also has defender Lee Mair and Dutch winger Jeffrey de Visscher sidelined, said: "Jackie got a real clatter in a collision with Zander Diamond and suffered a bit of a dead leg. He was forced to stop training and that's a worry. "I think he ran into the big man's knee and it was a sore one. It's the last thing we need ahead of the Celtic game. "It's a match he will want to play in for obvious reasons after his tremendous career at Celtic. "He's already proving a great addition. He was very good against Dundee United and outstanding against Hearts." (from the daily ranger) Quote
