The young striker has had an impressive goal scoring record in recent years at youth level and made his debut for Aberdeen in August 2009, playing against Czech Republic opponents Sigma Olomouc in the Europa League. In April 2010, he joined Scottish Second Division club Arbroath on loan until the end of the season, scoring 3 goals in five games. He has won six caps and has scored three goals for the Scotland Under-17 national team. The signing marks another important milestone for AFC Youth Academy as the Club continues to reap the rewards of the hard work being done to nurture home grown talent. Everyone at Pittodrie wishes Mitchel a bright future. Quote

It turns out he is the nephew of a friend of a friend of mine, and that friend is not a mutual friend. Trust that all makes perfect sense Quote
