If a team can teach Bolt to finish he would be an asset anywhere as an impact sub. He could outtrun any defence so they couldn't risk pressing high up against him as a ball over the top leaves him in. And if they stand off they invite pressure.

He would add a few thousand to every gate as a pure novelty. Doubt sevco would pay the basic wage he is after but they might view it as a risk worth the gamble

The Rangers director Alastair Johnston claims the club are doing better than expected - despite being mired in chaos. Johnston says finishing third in the Premiership would be a success for The Rangers this season, six years after they were playing in the bottom tier.

No guarantee that they WILL finish third though.

Sure the Sevco fans will agree with this little gem from Johnstone.

A Dhims blogger has reported McInnes is keen to take over sevco in the summer with one big proviso.....that Dave "career criminal" King is no longer on the sevco board. Press are apparently about to run with the story too......

Have thought for a while that this was a possible scenario.

by Rangers Football Club

RANGERS notes Hibernian’s decision to cut our supporters’ ticket allocation for the final match of the Scottish Premiership season at Easter Road on Saturday, May 13.

First and foremost Rangers hopes the safety of our fans, who will now be in only one section of the South Stand rather than filling it completely, will not be compromised by this decision, which beggars belief.

This is the least Rangers expects for supporters who have repeatedly proven themselves to be the most loyal in the country by selling out away ticketing allocations at opposition stadiums for years.

This was evident as we rose through the divisions when clubs the length and breadth of the country, including Hibernian, benefitted financially from the presence of our fans.

Rangers will of course bear in mind Hibernian’s decision when considering ticketing arrangements for future matches – both home and away – against this particular club.

Watch out Hibs the huns will get their revenge...  :rofl2: :rofl2:

A wee gem from a hun

After Hibs and Motherwell cutting or allocation again this season. It’s time for the club or @Club1872rfc to take a stand next season and announce that moving forward we will be boycotting one team per season. Cut the blue pound to them. But don’t let them know till the last min.

:rofl2: :rofl2:

Sincerely hope the Huns do appoint Gerrard as it's a massive gamble. He has literally no management experience, therefore how can anyone know if he'll be any good or not? Based on their track record of Warburton-Caixinha-Murty the Hun board don't appear to have much of an eye for a manager so chances are Gerrard will be hopeless and nothing more than a big name - albeit from his playing days - to dupe the hordes into renewing the season tickets.

In the Hull's Twitter page today Mcgregor hasn't agreed any terms with Sevco although Chris McLaughlin (BBC Scotland) told us yesterday that he HAD signed for a second time. Steve Clarke the Kilmarnock manager also said there was 'no offer' from The Rangers.

All Sevco do is feed these rumours to the Scottish media who it turn print them as truth to get The Ranger's fans to purchase these Season Tickets to keep the club running.

As for Steven Gerrard becoming their new manager you decide.  :rofl2:

It's all gossip and speculation and nothing more. I assume in order to sell season tickets. The huns need an experienced veteran at the helm who fully understands what he's getting into, Gerrard makes little sense. So, hope they get Gerrard.

I just re-read the headline and article and it says that he's agreed terms as you say. That cunt has to go like, he can't continue to be used by a club as its trojan horse for whatever reason they require. He should have been seriously disciplined after the McInnes debacle. He's being used. Although I don't doubt the McGregor story will come to fruition, it's inaccurate reporting and has no place on the BBC. If it's all gossip and speculation - as LA-Don suggests - then it has to clearly reported as that on the BBC. The Record or other cunt-rag can write what it likes, but the BBC has to be held to higher standards.

Maybe Chris McLaughlin (BBC Scotland) should stick to true stories like the one below.

Rangers chairman Dave King has been told he has breached takeover rules by failing to make a court ordered £11 million bid for the club's shares by Thursday because he has not yet got confirmed funds in the UK.

An offer to all shareholders by Mr King's South African-based Laird Investments (Proprietary) Limited has been held up as official approval to transfer the funds needed to support the bid from South Africa to the UK have not yet been given.

Sevco misfit Carlos Pena has sensationally been sacked by Cruz Azul due to “alcohol abuse” after he was caught urinating in a fountain in his team’s hotel.

He has 2 years left of his contract with The Rangers on 20K a year.

You can not make up this shit

Talks are ongoing between Ibrox chiefs and Steven Gerrard over a deal to replace Graeme Murty.

But reports down south suggest Gers have no better than a 50/50 chance of getting him to quit his role as Anfield academy coach.

Depending on what paper you read he has signed up or he is thinking about it.

The Sevco massive aren't going to be too happy at that one today.

I hope to fuck McInnes doesn't lie down to the hun when we play them. We have nothing to fear if we play our usual attacking game.
