Kowalski Posted June 26, 2012 Report Posted June 26, 2012 I would've thought it would be to the benefit of Seb Coe to get rid of some of these players anyway. They need to reduce their outgoings plus they'll be in a lower league, no point in spending loads of money on wages surely!? Quote
glasgow sheep Posted June 26, 2012 Report Posted June 26, 2012 Davis apparently confirmed as rejecting transfer to Seb Coe. Also protest update: Quote
Kowalski Posted June 26, 2012 Report Posted June 26, 2012 Steve Davis gone. That'll be him black balled. Quote
BobbyBiscuit Posted June 26, 2012 Report Posted June 26, 2012 What happened to the signing ban? I know when I left they were going to have the appeals panel sit in judgement again but I guess with the liquidation that has been cancelled/delayed, but if the SFA allow them to transfer their membership presumably any punishment will follow. Court of Session ruled the embargo couldn't stand. The appeal is to be heard again (suspension from SFA likely) but as you guess that has been delayed. Delayed as they're not going to exist in any form, is my guess. Quote
Stewart Posted June 26, 2012 Report Posted June 26, 2012 That'll be him black balled. Clubs will be cueing up to sign him. Quote
Mentorred Posted June 26, 2012 Report Posted June 26, 2012 Having a squad is Crucible to them getting accepted into a league for next season. Quote
Madbadteacher Posted June 26, 2012 Report Posted June 26, 2012 maybe someone else will stay to cushion the blow? But nae doubt he'll pocket a good wage somewhere else Quote

Kowalski Posted June 26, 2012 Report Posted June 26, 2012 SAINTS have announced that Belgian champions Anderlecht will replace Rangers in this summer's Markus Liebherr Memorial Cup. The club said the switch was "due to the well-publicised circumstances surrounding the Scottish side." The three-team tournament, which takes place at St Mary's on July 14, is also set to feature Premier League side Arsenal. In a statement on their website, Saints also added: "The decision has not been made lightly and has been reached with the integrity of the competition in mind, ensuring that the annual event will remain an extremely competitive experience with both Arsenal and Anderlecht bringing along a first team squad." dave_min Posted June 26, 2012 Report Posted June 26, 2012 That should be the Hun dead and buried forever now. Spartans, Linlithgow + 'unnamed others' are gonna challenge the SFA if newco are let in despite not having the 3 years of audited accounts needed for membership. Quote
