TENEMENTFUNSTER Posted December 7, 2010 Report Posted December 7, 2010 Once you pull on the blue jersey there is no going back. I'll take whatever they offer us for him. Jesus wept. Quote
stoney Posted December 8, 2010 Report Posted December 8, 2010 Jesus wept. at no other club in the world would a player be welcomed back with open arms after going on loan to their biggest rivels. Quote
Madbadteacher Posted December 8, 2010 Report Posted December 8, 2010 at no other club in the world would a player be welcomed back with open arms after going on loan to their biggest rivels. Utter bollocks. Quote
stoney Posted December 8, 2010 Report Posted December 8, 2010 Its not though is it! Or are Rangers our Macky-on rivals now. Some of you lot make me sick, you would welcome that back after he has worn the blue of rangers? Times have changed. Quote

FFS min, are you really that fucking thick or do you just do it to create controversy That sort of attitude is just plain stupid. Did Foster request the move ? Did he fuck. Only one person accountable for this loan move, and he has now gone, so move on Quote
stoney Posted December 8, 2010 Report Posted December 8, 2010 He didnt have to go, he could have said no. He wears that top with pride you can see it in him, he loves it. They are welcome to him, i dont know when our fan base turned so soft on these things. Quote
BigAl Posted December 8, 2010 Report Posted December 8, 2010 He's a professional footballer for fuck sake. Go figure what being a professional at anything entails. Welcome back in January in my book, and as others have said the experience can't have done him any harm Quote

dave_min Posted December 8, 2010 Report Posted December 8, 2010 at no other club in the world would a player be welcomed back with open arms after going on loan to their biggest rivels. That's probably because nobody would loan their players to their biggest rivals. Quote

Graeme_S Posted December 8, 2010 Report Posted December 8, 2010 I reckon it's a moot point anyway. The Huns as it stands, are still skint and will probably take a utility squad player for cheap if they can get it so I can see the deal being made permanent. Quote
Madbadteacher Posted December 8, 2010 Report Posted December 8, 2010 FFS Stoney, we've had a shit loadf of ex huns at pittodrie as both players and management. Very few have had to deal with your, worryingly-close-to-bigotry hatred. Unfortunately a lot of my AFC reference books are packed up for moving but I'm sure we can go back to the likes of Jim Forrest(?) and others on the 60's and 70's before we even get to the Jazzer Bett's of this world. Frankly if he comes back a more confident and better player I'd be happy to have him here.........and what an indictment of the management/training he's worked with here that would be! And, just thinking a bit more about this, if we were offered someone on loan from them in Jan, to fill some of the squad gaps we have, then if it's good for the team I'd welcome it. (Just nae mare hospital cases like Velicka) Quote

His cousin Alex Willoughby, also played for the Dons at that time. Both excellent players. At the time we were pleased to have them. Quote
TENEMENTFUNSTER Posted December 8, 2010 Report Posted December 8, 2010 Once you've worn a Rangers jersey you can't play for Aberdeen. The most thick post ever and there is a lot of competition. Quote
Superstar Tradesman Posted December 9, 2010 Report Posted December 9, 2010 The fact of the matter is; there are very few Hun players who wouldn't walk straight into our squad. If you don't want better, more experienced players playing for your team then "you have the team you deserve". Quote

Madbadteacher Posted December 9, 2010 Report Posted December 9, 2010 Stoney, I'm no claiming to be happy with that picture, nor am I going to be a Rangers sympathiser, but I wan't the BEST AFC team on the park possible, and if that means ex-huns then they will get my support. I am not selling my soul. Quote

It disgusts me that our manager at the time was allowed to swap our only full back for a cripple. Quote
Edinburghdon Posted December 9, 2010 Report Posted December 9, 2010 Stoney, weren't you in favour of the velicka loan deal?... Quote
stoney Posted December 9, 2010 Report Posted December 9, 2010 Nope - I said Velicka was a good player and he will score goals if he plays - I also stated that foster was dire and shouldnt be classed as a full back. Im not happy about it but in my opinion a fit Velicka is twice the player of a fit foster. Quote

Im not happy about it but in my opinion a fit Velicka is twice the player of a fit foster. That is irrelevant. Velicka will never be fit, and therefore is not even worth having. Waste of a player. And just for the sake of it. Of course that picture will disgust as all, why would we want to see our player in that blue? I still hope he comes back though. Quote
