Snow and ice getting a shift on, it was 14 degrees warmer this morning than it was yesterday here in the capital.

Hearts against Aberdeen kicks off at 1500, with the match being a delayed broadcast on BBC ALBA>:D  :hammer:

Hearts are confident their clean-up of snow-related damage at Tynecastle will be complete in time for Aberdeen's visit.

Snow and ice pulled off gutters from the main stand at Tynecastle and dugouts were damaged.

Hearts called in contractors to clear the snow from the roof of the stands in order to permit a further safety check.

Club officials met with the local council and the police on Thursday morning and will do so again on Friday to make a final decision.

If the game does go ahead, supporters will be asked to travel to the game using public transport as parking in the area will be prohibited.

The turnstiles at the Wheatfield Stand will also be closed - supporters should enter by Gorgie Road.
