BigAl Posted December 10, 2010 Report Posted December 10, 2010 SSN source Motherwell have asked us to delay the appointment of Mr Brown until after we play them on the 18th December. Does this mean they will in return retract the stupid statement about getting the SPL to take action against us for an illegal approach for their management team. Personally I'd tell Frankie Howard to go fuck himself Quote
TENEMENTFUNSTER Posted December 10, 2010 Report Posted December 10, 2010 After rubbishing us publicly, whether it's merited or not and telling the world they are going to go after us every which way, I'd be inclined to tell them to ram it. Quote
BobbyBiscuit Posted December 10, 2010 Report Posted December 10, 2010 Don't see what difference that should make for them, it essentially doesn't change anything. Quote
Kowalski Posted December 10, 2010 Report Posted December 10, 2010 How does that work if he's already quit!? Quote
Azteca1903 Posted December 10, 2010 Report Posted December 10, 2010 I'd be inclined to tell them to ram it. This. Complete desperation from them it seems. Quote
BigAl Posted December 10, 2010 Author Report Posted December 10, 2010 How does that work if he's already quit!? They obviously want him to have a few days oot of work Quote
TENEMENTFUNSTER Posted December 10, 2010 Report Posted December 10, 2010 How does that work if he's already quit!? Fuctifano, no contract, bolt! Quote
baggy89 Posted December 10, 2010 Report Posted December 10, 2010 Maybe worried their fans will come up with some more Paedophilia related chants about this management team. Quote
Sandaldinho Posted December 10, 2010 Report Posted December 10, 2010 I'd be inclined to tell them to ram it. This Quote
manc_don Posted December 10, 2010 Report Posted December 10, 2010 The club shouldn't give a rats arse about what 'Well want because he's not their employee anymore. Why hurt our own chances against a team we should be challenging? Quote
Tyrant Posted December 10, 2010 Report Posted December 10, 2010 They know AFC will ignore them but they're probably hoping to guilt Craigy B into delaying it. Quote
maverick sheep Posted December 10, 2010 Report Posted December 10, 2010 The man they never had under contract who has officially resigned? hahahahahahahahahah YASS we're no longer the SPL's biggest joke club!! Quote

dave_min Posted December 10, 2010 Report Posted December 10, 2010 If he takes the job, his first home game will be against Motherwell... Maybe he's waiting until after that? Just saying like... Quote
Penfold Posted December 10, 2010 Report Posted December 10, 2010 Anyone got any idea why they want us to postpone it? PLenty of managers have changed teams and faced their old team very quickly. Quote

PLenty of managers have changed teams and faced their old team very quickly. Because they're greeting faced cunts. Should this not be a 'let's all laugh at motherwell' thread now anyway? Quote

Can noyl think they don't trust the mini bus full of supporters they'll take to the game to behave themselves and not shout some nasty things to Mr Brown Quote
Kowalski Posted December 10, 2010 Report Posted December 10, 2010 Well certainly something seems to be holding up the announcement. Quote
Penfold Posted December 10, 2010 Report Posted December 10, 2010 Well certainly something seems to be holding up the announcement. Wouldnt be the first time AFC have waited until it's just too late for the EE to pick up the official statement/quotes. Would be raging if we delay this as a "goodwill" to Motherwell. Quote

BigAl Posted December 10, 2010 Author Report Posted December 10, 2010 According to Mr Brown himself on his interview on BBC Scotland Sport website he doesn't expect official annopuncement until Monday. Relax guys, all will be well Quote

Kowalski Posted December 10, 2010 Report Posted December 10, 2010 http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/a/aberdeen/9257495.stm Craig Brown has confirmed that he is to become the next manager of Aberdeen, saying simply that it is "a better job" than the one he had at Motherwell. Brown and his assistant Archie Knox resigned from their posts at Fir Park on Thursday evening. Motherwell announced on Wednesday that the veteran duo were staying after holding talks with Aberdeen. However, a second approach triggered a U-turn, which has left the Steelmen seeking sanctions against the Dons. Motherwell are also requesting that their Scottish Premier League rivals postpone the appointment until after the sides meet at Pittodrie on 18 December. The Fir Park club's chairman John Boyle told BBC Scotland: "I think that it would be a sporting gesture for Aberdeen, Craig and Archie to wait until we play them a week on Saturday before taking up their new position. "By doing that it would help Motherwell and we would feel that things are being done in a slightly better manner than they have been in the last couple of days." On the issue of the delayed appointment, Brown told BBC Scotland: "Our employer will advise us on what he wants us to do, and that's what we'll do." Quote
Harcus Posted December 10, 2010 Report Posted December 10, 2010 What a torn faced cunt Boyle is. If we give in to this shite it would be a disgrace. Where was his sense of sporting integrity when he took Motherwell into administration, sacking ten (?) players? Where was his sporting gesture when we requested a couple of games against Motherwell be postponed in the past few seasons? In short, get to cunting fuck John Boyle, you two pence in the pound, selective memory cunt. Quote

Or how about when they refused to postpone a game by a day before (or was it after) one of European games meaning 2 games in 3 days! Quote
