ABERDEEN FC remain hopeful that full-back David McNamee will be fit to face Celtic at the weekend.

 

McNamee suffered a groin injury during the 2-0 victory over St Mirren at Pittodrie.

 

He has been unable to train since, but Aberdeen FC boss Craig Brown hasn’t ruled McNamee out of his plans for the trip to Celtic Park.

Excellent news if he makes it. We really need a balanced back line to have any chance of holding off Celtic. Might be better to rest him and make sure for the semi though.
