wee toon red Posted October 5, 2022 Report Posted October 5, 2022 Yon weird-looking guy at Forest looking like the next one for the chop. Taking them from bottom of the championship to the premier league not good enough apparently, even with 22 new signings to try and build into a team. Quote
Jute Posted October 5, 2022 Report Posted October 5, 2022 Would be ridiculous if Forrest sacked Cooper after what he did last season. The huge number of players brought in during the Summer means he needs time to find his best team. After getting them promoted last season he surely deserves to be given more than a couple of months to do that. Quote
wee toon red Posted October 6, 2022 Report Posted October 6, 2022 Cooper seems to have been given the dreaded vote of confidence. Looks like they'll need to start winning within the next couple of games. Mental. Quote

Got to ask what more could they realistically expected from Cooper. Survival in top league was always going to number one objective for Forest. Think it would be a scandalous decision if they punted Cooper at this early stage of the season, particularly having backed him yto the extent they did in the last transfer window Quote

RicoS321 Posted October 21, 2022 Report Posted October 21, 2022 I assume he's been offered the Liverpool job like we were told would happen? Quote
wokinginashearerwonderland Posted October 21, 2022 Report Posted October 21, 2022 Gerrard - 37 league games (Won 12, Drew 8, Lost 17) Goodwin so far - 22 league games (Won 7, Drawn 6, Lost 9) Interesting comparison. Quote

manc_don Posted January 30, 2023 Report Posted January 30, 2023 Great appointment on paper. Not sure if evertons problems extend beyond him though. Helluva job in front of him. Quote
Jute Posted January 30, 2023 Report Posted January 30, 2023 Got hard job a head of him as large number players who have been signed by 6 different managers all of whom seem to have had different styles of play. Will be difficult getting a team together. Quote
Jute Posted February 6, 2023 Report Posted February 6, 2023 Probably to nobody’s surprise Leeds sack their manager. Quote

Jute Posted February 12, 2023 Report Posted February 12, 2023 Another that falls in to the no surprise box Nathan Jones sacked by Southampton. Should clarify that while results and chucking the players under the bus in recent interviews make his sacking no surprise I did think he would do well there and I am surprised it has gone bad so quickly.
