wokinginashearerwonderland Posted December 19, 2024 Report Posted December 19, 2024 Wolves showing how you don't need to fuck about when sacking a manager. It doesn't need to take five months. O'Neil fired on Sunday, his replacement hired today. Quote
Jute Posted December 19, 2024 Report Posted December 19, 2024 Sort of suggests they were working on replacing O’Neil for a while. 1 Quote

Jute Posted December 31, 2024 Report Posted December 31, 2024 Rooney punted by Plymouth. Got to think that’s him done as a top level coach. Quote

Suspect he will still get at least 3 more manager gigs in english leagues before ending up in the national team backroom staff Quote
Jute Posted January 8 Report Posted January 8 West Ham manager punted only 7 months after they chased Moyes out the door. Being replaced by Graham Potter who is not holding out for Tribute Act gig after all. Quote
BigAl Posted January 9 Report Posted January 9 Another one punted. Rob Edwards sacked by Luton Town who are in danger of back to back relegations. Quote

BigAl Posted January 9 Report Posted January 9 And yet another one booted into touch Sean Dyche sacked by Everton. Quote

Think he was always odds on to go when West Ham pulled the trigger on Lopetegui. Think Everton interviewed Potter as well so be interesting to see where they go. Quote

I watched the Nots Forest vs Luton FA Cup game this weekend. Luton were good, contained Forest for long periods of the game. I thought Walsh ?their Defensive midfielder) was particularly good for much of the game. But they were ultimately undone by a Forest team who are riding high in the Premiership. A healthy sig that they rested so many of their big guns for this and were still 2-0 up by the time the big guns came on in the final 10 minutes Quote
