About time Sean Dyche got a crack at one of these top jobs, he’d be a good fit there.

I have a feeling they may go for Rooney who seems to be doing well at Derby despite the financial difficulties and will also appease the fans who were raging at the appointment of Benitez in the first place.

Hodgson close to being appointed according to Sky.

The good old boys club merry go round swing into action again.

No mention of Messrs Bruce or Hughes 😉

In 24 years of being a manager, Bruce has been manager of 12 teams. He looked fucked stress wise in his last few months at Newcastle. Why go back into being a manager so soon and It's not like he's short of a bob after his pay off from Newcastle?

Conte basically resigning/asking to be sacked in his post match interview after Spurs 1-0 loss to Burnley.

Something seriously wrong at the club. Everything they touch turns to shit.

Not advocating that he should go just pointing out he is seriously not happy in the interview. He definitely gives the impression that he does not know how to sort the team as what he is trying is not working.

Nah, I know Jute.  I was just taking the piss.  His interview seems a bit knee jerk considering if they were to win their games in hand he would be a point off the Champions League placings.  Thought he had a bit more fight in him than that.

Strange appointment. A team in free fall and it's March. Hire a young American with no EPL experience when he's in a relegation scrap? Hope he's got guarantees on being there in August and a new season potentially in the championship.

He did decent job in MLS at New York Red Bulls a few years back but didn’t last long at Leipzig at all. You would think they would have gone someone with experience of avoiding relegation in EPL.

Looking like a really intriguing relegation battle down there. I suspect Norwich have too much to do but from Woy’s Watford right up to Newcastle in 14th it could be any two from those. Amazing how teams that have been rotten all season suddenly start winning just as the fat lady is limbering up.

Leeds goal difference is shocking.

Available now 😉

Just been punted by Burnley

Always thought that given the circumstances at Burnley he did a good job keeping them up for so long

Beat me to it. Really surprised at them sacking him now. Too late to do anything to save them so surely be as well just leaving him in place.

What a brutal game this is.  After 10 years in charge Dyche gets booted out the minute things go a little bit pear shaped.  You would have thought he would have at least earned a crack at trying to get them out of the bottom three with all he has done for that club.  Unless there has been a huge bust up behind the scenes then it is poor stuff from Burnley.  Sad thing is, Dyche was being touted for bigger jobs in the last few years and people have such short memories that the opportunity to manage a bigger team may have now passed him by.  More likely that he will turn up at a mid Championship team next season.
