Strange one on the face of it, Sunderland look a bigger club but they have been a basket case for a while.  No idea what stokes basket case status currently is.

It would be fucking hilarious. My feeling on postecoglou though is that he's in it for the long haul at the San giro unft. I don't see him walking out for a Brighton, got a funny feeling he might end up in Italy when leaves 2bh

It was only a matter of time before he got a chance at a big club wasn't it.

Yeah think your right. Had Swansea and Brighton going in right direction so big job always on the cards.

I don't pay that much attention to epl these days 2bh but he doesn't seem to have had many failures.

Potter on his way to Chelsea according to SSN.

Just read that the new Chelsea owner hinted to Billy Gilmour that there may be about to be a change in management before he opted to move to Brighton.  Could be a real sliding doors moment for Gilmour's career, if he had just hung on at Chelsea who knows?  Hope it is not one he lives to regret.

Probably still for the best, if Potter is going to blood young players like Gilmour into his Chelsea team when he has a blank chequebook available to him, I can’t see him lasting long. And better for Scotland if he gets used to “carrying” an average team rather than being surrounded by world class players. Still not convinced his career won’t take an Oliver Burke style nosedive though.

Ouch. Gilmour is an actual footballer, unlike the boy who can run fast. I saw Burke's Scotland debut and he was absolutely honking. Clearly just an athlete. As a young lad, I expect Gilmour to be inconsistent, but he's not suddenly going to forget how to play fitba really well. Burke just needed a little tail off in his physical performance to turn him into a worthless footballer. If Gilmour can get a foot in at any club, he'll turn out pretty special. He's very talented.
