When we could be bothered raising our game and having a go at them we were all over them, when we didn't they were all over us. Considine was excellent in the first half, but made a few shitty errors in the second. Vernon missed 3 or 4 absolute sitters. Quote

That is all that matters I'd quite like to hear about the one from a yard out, the guy on the radio made it sound like Vernon had made a goal line clearance when he was trying to score with his head. Brown in the interview said something similar. Again I wasn't at the game so can't comment but any player who can be a donkey and still score two goals in a game sounds fine by me. Quote

Capaldi is honouring the last few games with Morecambe he has left. Anderson may not play this season. Brown is more giving him a six month trial. Quote

Yes there were mistakes and it probably could have been 8 or 9 instead of 6, but lets not take away from what was a good afternoon's football, and all credit to Langfield who was definitely playing for the shirt today - without question!!
