BobbyBiscuit Posted January 22, 2011 Report Posted January 22, 2011 Aberdeen manager Craig Brown: "The last visit to Celtic Park has never been mentioned and it won't be mentioned. "Every game is different so we're not even contemplating discussing that. "Everything we do is positive. We don't want to touch on anything that's negative at all. "When I arrived here we had a word beginning with 'R'. "I didn't ban it from the dressing room but we never used it and we're still not using it even though we have that competition to fight. "So we won't be talking about any previous match against Celtic." "People think we are quite defensive because we don't lose goals. You don't lose goals if you play the game in the other half and that's the objective." Great stuff from Brown Superb. Important test of bottle today and a positive performance today could be the most important of the season. Quote
Stewart Posted January 22, 2011 Report Posted January 22, 2011 Aberdeen : Langfield, McArdle, Vujadinovic, Milsom, Diamond, Considine, Hartley, Young, Maguire, Vernon, Blackman. COYR Quote
BobbyBiscuit Posted January 22, 2011 Report Posted January 22, 2011 Aberdeen : Langfield, McArdle, Vujadinovic, Milsom, Diamond, Considine, Hartley, Young, Maguire, Vernon, Blackman. COYR That is a pretty attacking line up. Blackman for a debut goal I reckon. Quote
tom_widdows Posted January 22, 2011 Report Posted January 22, 2011 I'm going, last min decision. In Glasgow and anyway and thought fuck it. Quietly confident Just you and Mini JC making up the away support then? I bet the stewards still make you sit behind that pillar Quote
TENEMENTFUNSTER Posted January 22, 2011 Report Posted January 22, 2011 Langfield dislocated a finger in warm up but supposedly starting. Quote

tsr Posted January 22, 2011 Report Posted January 22, 2011 Tims dominating but we look comfortable. Quote
mizer Posted January 22, 2011 Author Report Posted January 22, 2011 Tims dominating but we look comfortable. Stokes 1 Diamond 0. Fail Quote
tsr Posted January 22, 2011 Report Posted January 22, 2011 Aye, feed I was watching was a few minutes behind the game Quote
quirie Posted January 22, 2011 Report Posted January 22, 2011 Dont see why we this time next saturday we arent in out first final in 11 years. Celtic defense look shaky at times and we just need our oppertunities Quote
dave_min Posted January 22, 2011 Report Posted January 22, 2011 Happy enough with what I heard today. Would have prefered getting at least a point, but it wasn't as if we were gonna win the league or get relegated anyway There for the taking next week Quote
quirie Posted January 22, 2011 Report Posted January 22, 2011 Watched it setanta australia. Sellick were nothing special. Diamond was a bit slow at the goal I think. Bebo was close with a couple of volleys. Their defense looks shaky sometimes. Quote
tsr Posted January 22, 2011 Report Posted January 22, 2011 Diamond totally lost his man and was totally at fault for the goal, never mind a bit slow. Overall a competent performance and as all have said we can defo beat them. Quote
Mentorred Posted January 22, 2011 Report Posted January 22, 2011 Was glad Langfield did not bring Stokes down as he went round him. Easier to come back from 1-0 down with 11 men. Quote
tlg1903 Posted January 23, 2011 Report Posted January 23, 2011 First half we were fucking rubbish, vernon was the left wing most of the time and the team was sitting far too deep. Miles better in the second half and we were worthy of a point but just couldnt get a break. Nearside linesman was a fucking cunt the second half. Maggenis was great when he came on, the child neglector shat it any time he got near him. Was good craic singing "its a conspiracy at the tims" We've got a really good chance next weekend, the tim back line is shaky. Quote
tlg1903 Posted January 24, 2011 Report Posted January 24, 2011 Oh and for all the shit stewards get labelled with (often correctly I might add) would like to make special mention to a couple of them at parkhead. Afc fucked up my ticket adn it wasn't waiting for me at the ground. Couldn't find a spare and the steward at the away end sent me to his supervisor. He was well sound and told me to go to the ticket office and buy a ticket forthe home end then go back and see him. This done I was let into the away end. The boy actually gave a shit that I had traveled down and went out of his way to get me in bending the rules in he process. Bet it wouldn't happen at pittodrie for an away fan Quote
Harcus Posted January 24, 2011 Report Posted January 24, 2011 Good to hear that tlg. Hope you went spare at AFC? Quote
manc_don Posted January 24, 2011 Report Posted January 24, 2011 Hope you get your money back from AFC too! Certainly sounds like a much more positive effort than the previous. Not that that was hard to beat mind. Roll on next Saturday! Quote
KGB Posted January 24, 2011 Report Posted January 24, 2011 I had a similar experience at Celtic Park years ago. They contacted AFC who faxed down some sort of confirmation and I got in We lost Quote
tsr Posted January 24, 2011 Report Posted January 24, 2011 Always get tickets from AFC in that manner for away games and never had a problem! Always feared the worst, as you experienced, but would guess it was more of a tic issue based on more than one peron having the problem. Quote
dave_min Posted January 24, 2011 Report Posted January 24, 2011 Fair play to the Celtic steward. Quote
