tsr Posted February 6, 2011 Report Posted February 6, 2011 Watching that.....you reckon Miller would be as good today as he was back in the day, taking into consideration the change in the back pass rule? Quote
BobbyBiscuit Posted February 6, 2011 Author Report Posted February 6, 2011 Watching that.....you reckon Miller would be as good today as he was back in the day, taking into consideration the change in the back pass rule? Aye, considering he used to start about 50% of our attacks! He used his keeper a lot but he was just such a good footballer he could walk out of defence with that ball at his feet or he could ping it 60 yards - see John Hewitt's first v Hearts in the 86 Cup Final. Dundee United suffered with the backpass rule but that's because they were always boring cunts. Quote
Madbadteacher Posted February 7, 2011 Report Posted February 7, 2011 Miller today? We'd have not been able to keep him and he'd be in ManU/Chelski territory with commentators foaming at the mouth about how good he is seriously for all you youngsters he really was "The best penalty box defender in the world". Better, or at least as good as, Baresi Quote
