Aberdeen lost at home to Motherwell last Tuesday but the weekends win – their best league result of the season – has given a huge lift for the whole club. He said: “The boys knew we had to have a reaction after the poor result against Motherwell. McNamee says confidence is key for Aberdeen “Everybody was really fired up for the Kilmarnock match and it’s a great confidence builder.” However, the former Livi ace insists that he and his team-mates won’t be treating tomorrow night's visit of Hamilton Accies lightly. he said: “Hamilton will do what they have been doing for the majority of the season and give us a right good game. It’s not going to be easy.” And McNamee is cautiously optimistic that Aberdeen can get into the top six of the SPL. “It’s going to be tough, but we have players in the team that can get us victories,” he said. “Fingers crossed we can get a string of results together, but it’s going to be difficult.” Quote
