El Padre™ Posted February 23, 2011 Report Posted February 23, 2011 If you drank there, what's your first choice for a pre-match beer now? The Caley? The Pitt Bar? Quote
Guest ally s Posted February 23, 2011 Report Posted February 23, 2011 Kings Bar, it's a shithole but I like it. Quote
Stewart Posted February 23, 2011 Report Posted February 23, 2011 Was in Archie's followed by The Scotia on Saturday. Not sure where I'll go permanently. Quote
glasgow sheep Posted February 23, 2011 Report Posted February 23, 2011 Saw a few folk suggesting the Scotia on Mad, I thought you got away fans in there? Quote
RDU_64 Posted February 23, 2011 Report Posted February 23, 2011 I stay on Summerfield Terrace which The Scotia is on and I was pretty sure it was an away fans haunt on a match-day. No sure though as I have never been in, despite staying just 2 seconds away. Looks alright. How come the Broadhill shut doon anyway? Can't imagine it being too busy down there apart from match-days really. Quote
Jute Posted February 23, 2011 Report Posted February 23, 2011 Been in the Scotia a couple of times after games and its okay but not very big. Probably just drink in Archies more now. Quote
Kowalski Posted February 23, 2011 Report Posted February 23, 2011 Either Caley or Northern GCs. Quote
dave_min Posted February 23, 2011 Report Posted February 23, 2011 Mas Nit - changed my mind. Going to jagers flat instead. Quote
mizer Posted February 23, 2011 Report Posted February 23, 2011 How come the Broadhill shut doon anyway? Can't imagine it being too busy down there apart from match-days really. No investment in the pace for yonks = not the nicest of places to hang out = less customers = less investment etc If we were staying at Pittodrie I could have seen the point in putting some money in but we are offski in a couple of years. El Padre™ Posted February 23, 2011 Author Report Posted February 23, 2011 I wonder what they did with all the memorabilia they had.... Quote
Madbadteacher Posted February 23, 2011 Report Posted February 23, 2011 Was it still owned by the folks who had the pub in Mey (Caithness) Quote
Rebus30 Posted February 23, 2011 Report Posted February 23, 2011 This is the first season I've not had a couple of jars in the Broadhill before the game. Like others have said not the most salubrious of places but it served it's purpose...shame to see the back of it Quote
