BigAl
No surprise. Cheap option appointment in the first place. Likely to have cost them in the long term now. Where's JC ?

Given its the same St Mirren board I would put money on them going for the cheap option again and appoint either Goodwin, Teale or Thompson. Jute
Resigned last month Jute. Had missed that. He might well be in with a shout then. Still expect them to promote from within though.

BigAl
Alex Neil been approached by Norwich City about vacant managers position. Fucking hell.. Young lad to be taking the step up. Didn't see that one coming at all. Heard that last night he was 33/1 for the job and by this morning was odds on. Nice return for anyone that lumped cash on him. Big step up and not sure he is going to be an overly popular appointment with the Canaries support, meaning he is under pressure from day one. Always come across as a decent enough guy, so wish him all the best.

BigAl
Cheap option though. Just hope that deal is sealed soon so that DM isn't linked. Cheap option maybe, but still a bold move. Seriously hope it works out for him. Whilst I would admit that DM has unfinished business down south don't think that he would be tempted away from Pittodrie right now to go there. manc_don
Looks like he's offski: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/30714385 Shame for Hamilton and will be interesting to see whether they keep up their good form in his absence. TENEMENTFUNSTER
Good luck to him, affy early in his career to go into a club with fairly lofty ambitions in what's well known for being a cunt to succeed in.

manc_don
No surprise to see him gone. Hopefully they get someone equally useless. To be fair, can't say his players have really tried. That said, I don't watch motherwell very often so fuck knows if he knew what he was doing. Will always be deemed as a good guy from my perspective, keeping sevco out of the top division was the right thing for Scottish Football. Jute
Rumour has it United have punted the wage thief. Edit: Confirmed by BBC that he is no longer United manager although still an employee of the club.
manc_don
I see Wright and McCall are favourites for the job. Would be a shame to see Wright go there, may actually sort them out.
