Harcus Posted March 26, 2011 Report Posted March 26, 2011 Interesting thread on Mad. http://boards.footymad.net/forum.php?tno=4&fid=27&sty=2&act=1&mid=2117976350&page=1 Along with some mock-ups from CaddyCarhandle who seems to be in the know. Some crackers there. Quote
manc_don Posted March 26, 2011 Report Posted March 26, 2011 Some really nice shirts there, though i'd hope it wouldn't be a Kappa or Le Coq Sportif one. The others look very sharp, in particular the first one. Quote
Edinburghdon Posted March 26, 2011 Report Posted March 26, 2011 Like the look of the Hummell top and absolutely f**king love the adidas one with the pin stripe, the rest I'm not too keen on though! Quote
jmo Posted March 26, 2011 Report Posted March 26, 2011 Would be nice to have one of those Addidas Kits. The away one looks good. Somehow doubt the strip next season will be anywhere near as nice as those though. Pity really because a decent strip like some of those could sell quite a bit I reckon. Perhaps not the Kappa one. RDU_64 Posted March 26, 2011 Report Posted March 26, 2011 Yeah some nice ones there. Kappa, Le Coq Sportif, Reebok and Hummel ones, I'm not keen on really. Has to be between the two adidas one's or the bottom left one for me. Quote
Madbadteacher Posted March 26, 2011 Report Posted March 26, 2011 The Admiral one (bottom left), throwback to the glory days of '76 league cup glory Quote
baggy89 Posted March 26, 2011 Report Posted March 26, 2011 I like both Adidas, the Admiral and if they were to make it uniform i.e. get rid of the white bits and the plain red sleeves and make it all out of the checked red the Umbro also. Quote
Ptayles Posted March 26, 2011 Report Posted March 26, 2011 Like The Pinstripe adidas one but love the Lecoqsportif one and also the reebok one Quote
CtS Posted March 26, 2011 Report Posted March 26, 2011 Two from the top and any four from the bottom please Rachel, all look quite good. That away top is superb! Didn't Liverpool have something similar recently? Quote
Kowalski Posted March 26, 2011 Report Posted March 26, 2011 Didn't Liverpool have something similar recently? That away top is shite! Quote
BobbyBiscuit Posted March 27, 2011 Report Posted March 27, 2011 Wonderful. I still have and wear the socks from that kit. Quote
Reekie_Red Posted March 28, 2011 Report Posted March 28, 2011 Call me nostalgic, but I love the admiral one (bottom far left) and the adidas pinstripe one (bottom, second from right). Away kit is superb too! Quote

Tyrant Posted March 30, 2011 Report Posted March 30, 2011 The Ad didas ones look ace. I've always liked Adidas kits. Quote

Kowalski Posted April 21, 2011 Report Posted April 21, 2011 Interesting but they're still only going to sell at the club shop or on the official website. Quote

Harcus Posted April 21, 2011 Author Report Posted April 21, 2011 Interesting but they're still only going to sell at the club shop or on the official website. Would be interesting to see their reasoning behind that. Kits should be available to buy in Inverness, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Orkney etc IMO. Quote
Tyrant Posted April 21, 2011 Report Posted April 21, 2011 Good news. Althought I still think it's ridiculous that you can't buy the Dons kits out and about the shops. Quote
manc_don Posted April 21, 2011 Report Posted April 21, 2011 But at least they're taking over the retail operation - I suppose that's about as close as we'll get to an admission that the deal with Just Sport was a failure, both technically and commercially. Agreed, it's a step in the right direction, hopefully they'll release items to be sold elsewhere. I assume they're trying to make the most money they possibly can at the moment by centralising everything. Quote
